  • What to do about being wronged
    Jun 28 2024

The truth is that sooner or later, someone will come along to test you. Whether it's a test of your character, your love and kindness, or progress of becoming better.

When things aren't adding up, I share my process for you to go into conversations less reactive and more grounded, because your kindness shouldn't be mistaken for weakness but when it is...

What if it was possible to filter through everything going through your mind and body BEFORE going into a conversation guns blazing? We could have way better outcomes and even if we don't walk away with a win, we CAN move forward, knowing in our heart of hearts that we tried and we kept it real on our end to the best of our ability.

But if we're able to recognize when someone doesn't value who we are, we are also able to accept that they also had a choice in how they treated us and from there, it's a matter of creating distance or even sticking around anymore. And honestly, it's not even about them, it's about being accountable for our part in the relationship and allowing them to be who they are.

When someone does you wrong, who do you become? I invite you to learn and grow from it, even if it's already in the past.

  • The truth about being stuck
    Jun 21 2024

Hey beautiful, in this episode I share why and how this podcast has come to existence.

If you have ever been stuck at any point in your life, you know what it's like to make decisions that are better but not always the easiest.

I'd like to remind you that no matter what it is you're facing or feeling, big or small, you have the power of choice. You are more than capable of making the next move that feels right for you, even if you have to change course again, you'll know it will all work out because you've learned how to trust yourself and stand true to you.

None of us are perfect and it's our duty to admit when we haven't been the woman we know we can be.

As a woman who has been through many adventures, exciting ups and scary downs, I can tell you that I always find myself turning within and above to find my answers. It isn't wasy to figure out, and that's what I'm here for.

Join me as I share personal experiences, interview other women (and some men) who have become their truest selves, and remind you to trust yourself.

If you enjoyed this episode, leave a review and share this with someone you know will appreciate it, and send me a message to talk about your takeaways, favorite parts or tell me what you'd like to hear more of! • If we want change, it's up to us
    Mar 8 2024
In this episode I talk about how I used to have some serious FOMO, what happens when priorities are honored, and of course reminding you to take a moment to appreciate a woman in your life because today is International Woman's Day 2024! When we put ourselves first, a small inconvenience no longer feels like a huge crisis. But we have to first make the decision to put ourselves at the TOP of the "things to take care of" list. 🙏🏼 Thank you for listening! • Adopting a nobody cares attitude | Ep. 16
    Feb 27 2024
What's up, world! I'm so glad you're here. This episode is crucial for staying in a goal oriented mindset. So many times, I've found myself seeking validation from someone on the outside to keep me motivated. But what I forgot was that there have been MANY times that I didn't worry about anyone else giving me approval about staying on MY course and in MY journey. If we want to work toward something or change who we become, it's our OWN job to stay accountable, and NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE... so why should we care so much instead of celebrating ourselves regardless? In this episode I invite you to adopt the mentality that nobody cares and we should work hard anyway. Thank you so much for listening! 🙏🏼 I appreciate you and your time. • Three things I did to keep going this week | Ep. 15
    Feb 24 2024
This week was truly about leaning in for me and I know we all have times where change is hard, so this episode is for when you're facing change or feeling like you're being pushed out of your comfort zone. For me, it was truly about leaning in and doing the hard stuff so that I'll thank myself later. Remember, when you look back on all the hard days youve survived, it's not about dwelling on the past, it's reminding yourself that you're already capable but have to get over the fact that not everything will come easy. Don't forget to give yourself credit. 🙏🏼 Thank you so much for listening! I would love to hear from you! Contact me through email, Facebook, or Instagram: https://linktr.ee/the.andrea.k

  • I used to say THIS WORD way too much | Ep. 14
    Feb 20 2024
Sorry, I'm NOT sorry! Girl, it's 2024, and we are DONE with that word. I noticed that over time, I've become less apologetic for my existence and way more comfortable with taking up space. Showing up as yourself is a powerful thing. The world would be so boring if we didn't! Are you saying sorry unnecessarily? If you are, ask yourself: What are you so sorry for? • Ep. 13 Every time I stop making excuses I take action
    Feb 17 2024
We've all done it... came up with those "really good" excuses to not do or start something. For me, it usually comes down to three things: fear of failure or judgment, being comfortable, or lack of discipline. So when I DO lean into discomfort and embrace the vulnerability process....I'm able to take action, which is super empowering! I hope this episode helps you run out of excuses and turn into an action taking, butt kicking version of you! Contact me here: https://linktr.ee/the.andrea.k
