Lloyd is well known for her comedy, regularly appearing on panel shows such as QI, Would I Lie To You and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and acting in Give Out Girls and Peep Show among many others. She is prolific in her radio work, including The Cariad Radio Show, and Here Be Dragons. Lloyd is now equally well known for her conversations on grief. And now, You Are Not Alone, Lloyd's first book, which shares her experiences of death at a young age, and how we deal (or don't) with grief.

Choosing to pursue a career in journalism (rather than being a footballer) has paid off for Dan Walker. Known for his impeccable style and acerbic wit, Tom Allen is a regular feature on our televisions, previously presenting Bake Off: The Professionals and Bake Off: An Extra Slice, as well as his own show on Channel 4, Quiziness. Allen trained with the National Youth Theatre and has appeared in films such as Starter for Ten and Tamara Drewe, and began his stand-up career winning the So You Think You're Funny award in 2005.

Magician and presenter Stephen Mulhern joined us at Audible Studios to chat about his latest magical foray—Max Magic—which is his first children’s novel. In the name of the cost of living crisis, Ali mocks those who spend their fortunes on designer bags, aesthetically pleasing fridge re-stocks and needlessly priced useless items. When he’s not making viral reaction videos, he can be found teaching chemistry at a school in Blackburn.

Multiaward-winning journalist and broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire talks to Audible studios about the release of her first audiobook, Dear Cancer, Love Victoria. Kevin tells Holly about the inspiration of the book as well as the process of researching the history of the Irish wake.

Rising to fame as a pop star as part of The Communards, Richard Coles has had a very varied career - he has worked as a vicar for several parishes after finding religion later in life, has appeared on many panel shows. He shared his life through his memoirs, including details of his civil partnership and grief following the death of his partner. Coles has begun writing fiction – the Canon Clement Mystery series – starting with Murder Before Evensong, and is with us to talk about the second in the series, A Death in the Parish.

Robert Peston is the presenter of ITV's politics show, Peston, and has been ITV News' political editor since 2015, having previously worked as BBC's business editor for a decade. We spoke with Peston about his latest venture, a novel titled The Whistleblower, his first work of fiction. Holly Newson asked him about this foray into fiction and his everlasting interest in the world of politics, and heard which parts of the book are based on his own life.

Gordon began her career in journalism, working for papers such as The Daily Telegraph. Alongside her journalistic career, Bryony has written several books which document her struggles with depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and addiction. Speaking out about mental health has given Gordon a new perspective and drive on the matter, prompting her to run the London marathon two years in a row for mental health charities and start a support group, 'Mental Health Mates'.

Best known for dominating snooker in the 1990s. He won the World Championship seven times, became the youngest professional snooker player aged 16 in 1985 and, in 1990, was the youngest-ever world champion at the age of 21. His autobiography, Me and the Table, was published in September 2018.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest novel, A Shout in the Ruins, is writer, poet and US Army veteran Kevin Powers. An Iraq war veteran, serving between 2004 and 2005, Kevin Powers is the author behind The Yellow Birds, which won the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Guardian First Book Award and was a National Book Award finalist. Following on from his debut poetry collection in 2014, Power’s latest published book is A Shout in the Ruins.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest book, The Winning Formula, is British former Formula 1 driver turned presenter and entrepreneur David Coulthard. Winning 13 grand prix races during his career as a F1 driver, Coulthard spent many years as a leader in the world of motorsports. As well as running his production company, Whisper Films, and making his mark in the property business, Coulthard now commentates and copresents on Channel 4’s F1 coverage and has written his book, The Winning Formula, about the business of sport.
