Joining us at Audible Studios is Esme Young, English fashion designer and judge on the BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee. Beginning her career in the 1970s, Young established her brand 'Swanky Modes', opening a shop in Camden Town. Her designs were sought after, and appeared in ID and Nova. She has also designed costumes for films such as Bridget Jones's Diary and Trainspotting, including the iconic bunny outfit for Renée Zellweger. Esme Young has now written Behind the Seams, her memoir looking back over her life and time in fashion.

Ruth Ware visits the Audible studio to talk about her latest thriller, The Lying Game. Both Ware’s debut thriller, In a Dark, Dark Wood, and the follow-up, The Woman in Cabin 10, were Sunday Times top 10 best sellers in the UK and New York Times top 10 best sellers in the US. Here she talks about writing female friendships; her protagonist, Isa; and her fascination with boarding schools.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about playing the role of Mrs Hubbard in Murder on the Orient Express is lauded British actress Jane Asher. A key figure of the 1960s, Asher has worked extensively across TV, film and stage throughout her career, starting from childhood. Her most notable roles include Annie in Alfie, Angel Samson in the 2001 revival of Crossroads and Celia Ryder in the 1981 television version of Brideshead Revisited. Joining us at Audible Studios is founder and CEO of Netflix Marc Randolph, who has founded over eight companies and is a serial entrepreneur. Randolph's Netflix journey began alongside his friend Reed Hastings in 1997, when they decided to give mail-order DVDs a try. Simon Hooper, social media star, businessman, author and father of four, brings us his debut audiobook, Forever Outnumbered: Tales of Our Family Life from Instagram’s Father of Daughters. Opening a window into real-life parenting through the eyes of a modern-day dad, the audiobook is a comical yet equally emotionally heartfelt ode to family life. Here we talk to Simon about using social media for good, his views on shared parental leave and his favourite parenting moments to date.

Joining us at Audible Studios is high profile human rights and civil liberties barrister Leslie Thomas QC. The Patient Assassin covers the events of the Amritsar Massacre of 1919 in which hundreds of lives were lost when the army opened fire on a crowd with no warnings. An injured survivor, Udham Singh, vowed, wiping blood-soaked earth onto his forehead, that he would kill the men responsible. The Patient Assassin follows him through Africa and the US and across Europe to end up in front of Sir Michael O'Dwyer, who had sent the men to attack.

Goldsmith is mixed-race and was raised in London in the 1950s by a single white mother. Goldsmith was the first female - and only ever woman of colour - to be elected to the University of Leicester students' union. She founded Anona Development Consultancy in 1995, for which she works as an energiser, motivator and strategist in the not-for-profit sector. Goldsmith has worked with more than 100 different groups and organisations over five continents.

Joining us at Audible Studios is former SAS sergeant Chris Ryan. Ryan enrolled in the British Army at the age of 16, where he then passed selection to join the 22 SAS Regiment under ‘B’ squadron. Ryan spent the next seven years of his life serving around the world on covert and overt operations. Ryan was a key member of the infamous Bravo Two Zero SAS patrol in Iraq during the Gulf War. The patrol was compromised and was forced to head towards Syria on foot. Ryan was the only one of the eight-man team to not be captured or killed.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book and autobiography, A Better Me, is lauded British singer, songwriter and record producer Gary Barlow. Best known as the lead singer of British boy band Take That and head judge of The X Factor UK from 2011-2013, Gary Barlow is one of the UK’s most successful songwriters, with 14 number one singles, 24 top 10 hits and three number one singles as a solo artist. Gary Barlow’s official autobiography, A Better Me, was published in October 2018.
