Joining us at Audible Studios is award-winning television and radio presenter Anita Rani. Rani, with a career presenting television spanning over 20 years, is a household name. Born and raised in Bradford, Rani moved to London with a goal to pursue a career in broadcasting. She is now a lead presenter on Countryfile, regularly presents on Radio 2 and hosts Woman's Hour on Radio 4 every week. Rani has now penned her powerful memoir, The Right Sort of Girl.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Jess Phillips, Labour MP of Birmingham Yardley since 2015. Phillips grew up in a politcally active household, which was a platform into her own political career. Phillips' next book, Truth to Power, is set to inspire you to speak truth and give you the tools and courage you need to do so. We will be speaking to Phillips about her new book, her political career and her love of truth!

Joining us at Audible Studios are journalists and creators of the Not Plant Based blog, Laura Dennison and Eve Simmons. In this interview, Laura and Eve discuss their blog and new book. They share their thoughts on Instagram, the positives of meeting like-minded people and what is most rewarding about what they do. We also hear how their collaboration came about.

In 2008, Cain began playing football for Coventry City but in 2012 he had to give up football after an injury put an end to his career. Cain then pursued reality TV, and appeared in shows such as Ex on the Beach, The Challenge and, more recently, SAS: Who Dares Wins. In 2020, life changed for Cain. His 8-week-old daughter, Azaylia, was diagnosed with cancer and passed away aged 8 months. Cain has done his utmost to raise awareness of childhood cancers and raise money, putting himself through grueling physical challenges.

Stephen has been performing at the Edinburgh Festival for over 15 years on top of touring, appearing on multiple panel shows and presenting various documentaries. Not to mention performing at the Royal Variety in 2007. Having more than earnt his comedy stripes, his Talk Show features guests from all stages of their comedy careers, chatting about the industry, performing and many personal, funny anecdotes. When Stephen joined us in studio, he spoke about diversity in comedy, how he came to feel okay with things going wrong on stage and what keeps comedians returning to Edinburgh year after year.

He’s well-known for being the voice of novels from the likes of P. D. James, Paula Hawkins and Peter James and appearing on hit TV series Foyle's War and Silent Witness. In this interview he talks about the recording and preparation process for audiobook narration, how he got into it and how he portrays different characters.

Joining us at the Audible Studios is veterinary surgeon and presenter Noel Fitzpatrick. Perhaps better known as the Supervet, he has now penned an autobiography - Listening to the Animals: Becoming the Supervet. He speaks to us about his memoir, which shows his journey to becoming the Supervet from the very beginning. We see every twist and turn on his route to Surrey and opening his world-renowned veterinary practice, his extremely successful television show, The Supervet, and the personal experiences that come alongside working with sick and injured animals.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Esme Young, English fashion designer and judge on the BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee. Beginning her career in the 1970s, Young established her brand 'Swanky Modes', opening a shop in Camden Town. Her designs were sought after, and appeared in ID and Nova. She has also designed costumes for films such as Bridget Jones's Diary and Trainspotting, including the iconic bunny outfit for Renée Zellweger. Esme Young has now written Behind the Seams, her memoir looking back over her life and time in fashion.

A freelance journalist and author, Reni Eddo-Lodge is one of the country’s critical young thinkers, focusing her work on feminism and exposing structural racism. Her debut Jhalak Prize-winning title, Why I’m No longer Talking to White People About Race, was published in June 2017. Reni Eddo-Lodge talks to us about narrating her audiobook, her thoughts on positive discrimination and what makes her hopeful about Britain today.

We'll be talking to Nicolas Hamilton about his debut book, Now That I Have Your Attention, finding out what his role is within the Hamilton family, why he pushes himself so hard and how it feels to race against able-bodied drivers.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss her latest book, You Me Everything, is author Catherine Isaac. With nine Sunday Times best-selling novels under her belt as Jane Costello, including her well received debut, Bridesmaids, her next novel, You Me Everything, is the first book under the pseudonym Catherine Isaac. Catherine talks to us about her new direction in writing, how her own life inspires her work and what we can expect from her new novel.

Miller played the lead role in Death in Paradise before leaving to spend more time with his family. Beyond television, Miller has acted in films such as Johnny English (2003) and its sequel, Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism (2014), and on stage in The Ladykillers (2011) and The Duck House. His directorial debut was the film Huge. We'll be chatting to Ben Miller about his book The Boy Who Made the World Disappear, his partnership with Alexander Armstrong and what he would put into a black hole.

Joining us at Audible Studios is author Kit de Waal. Growing up in poverty in Birmingham, de Waal was exposed to many challenges as a child. Being British, Irish and Caribbean, she experienced many aspects of racism, and her chaotic home life was both a comfort and a difficulty. We'll be talking with Kit de Waal about her newest book, a memoir titled Without Warning and Only Sometimes, and asking why she turned the lens on herself, how her love of reading began, and how it felt to have Armageddon hanging over her as a child.

Dahl has been contributing editor at Men’s Vogue, Conde Nast Traveller and British Vogue. Her literary career began in 2003, when she released her first book, an illustrated novella which became a Times best seller, titled The Man with the Dancing Eyes. She has gone on to release cookery books, including Miss Dahl’s Voluptuous Delights, and cookery shows. Dahl, married to jazz singer Jamie Cullum, has two children and lives in Buckinghamshire. Her newest book is her first for children and is titled Madame Badobedah.

After beginning a career in psychiatric nursing, Jo Brand moved to the alternative comedy stand-up scene with early performances on Saturday Live and later appearing in the likes of The Brain Drain and Jo Brand Through the Cakehole. Brand is the author of four novels and is currently the presenter of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice, and her latest book, Born Lippy, was published in October 2018.

Joining us at Audible Studios is author, journalist and economics and politics commentator, Grace Blakeley. We’ll be chatting with Grace Blakeley about Vulture Capitalism, her latest book which exposes corporate crimes, reveals the truth of the free market and demonstrates the issues with capitalism. We'll be asking Kate Muir about Everything You Need to Know About the Pill (But Were too Afraid to Ask), debunking myths, discovering why women are often given the wrong advice, and the prospects of a male pill. Muir worked for seven years as chief film critic for The Times before turning more towards investigative journalism. She has written three novels but her more recent works have looked at the hormonal issues that women face, often needlessly. She has produced documentaries on the menopause, as well as becoming an expert public speaker.

Joining us at the Audible Studios are Greg James and Chris Smith, authors of the Kid Normal books and famous as BBC Radio 1 presenters. They have taken their collaboration on air to the world of writing and audiobook narration to bring us the joys of protagonist Murph Cooper, aka Kid Normal, and the Super Zeroes. They are now on the third installment in the series: Kid Normal and the Shadow Machine, in which Kid Normal and the Super Zeroes lead the charge as supervillain Magpie declares all-out war.
