House of Wolves and Magic

My brother gave his life to help me escape the pack. Now after being in hiding for the last few years, I'm seeing shifters outside of their normal territory, and they're getting closer to my little patch of wolf-free paradise. If they find out I'm still alive, they'll haul me back and mate me to some random wolf, keeping me as a breeding machine to perpetuate our species. Forced imprinting is supposed to be forbidden, but if I know my pack, that won't stop them from getting what they want.

I never expected to find a second mate. When my first mate didn’t immediately kill him, I was hopeful - only to have those hopes dashed when their packs turned against us. We were deemed unnatural, a threat, something to be destroyed. Now we’re on the run with nowhere to hide. As if that’s not enough, my old alpha’s obsession with me hasn’t ended. News of my unusual relationship must have reached him by now, but I know he won’t give up.

My life is a shadow of what it once was. I barely even have a toothbrush to call my own, and yet I wouldn’t change anything. The bonds with my mates are growing stronger every day...and so am I. Now we’re on a mission to hunt down the oracle and finally get some answers. There’s only one thing that stands in the way, and that’s the Shadow Forest. The wolves within are hostile to outsiders. We need to avoid them, but something tells me our journey through the forest won’t be uneventful. Can the hunted also be the hunter?
