Last Pandemic

Highly contagious, a deadly virus rips through the country like wildfire. No one is safe. Albuquerque, NM is quickly overrun. People drop like flies. And with no one left to keep things running, they'll soon be plunged into darkness. Matt's a normal office worker with an eye for being prepared. But now that a real catastrophe has hit, he quickly realizes that he's not prepared enough. Much of his gear is back at home, and he's trapped at the office. Will he be able to cross a city that's quickly descending into chaos?

Matt, Jamie, and Judy have made it through the first days of the virus. But that doesn't mean anything when it comes to long-term survival. Society has collapsed, and there's no indication that it's coming back online anytime soon. In the meantime, elements of violence and chaos rise up, threatening everyone. Jamie's cousin has property up north, near Santa Fe. If they can get there, they might be safer. The only problem? There's only road there, with nothing but the high desert stretching out on either side.

They've finally found shelter, but food, water, and security are still lacking. Splitting up briefly to look for supplies, Jamie winds up missing. Exhausted, Matt and Judy must decide what to do. Without any way to communicate with her, she could be anywhere, and anything could have happened to her. Will they risk their own lives to do what it takes to find and save Jamie?
