The Moon Trilogy (O'Rourke)

When 18-year-old Winter McCall is offered a chance to leave her life of poverty on the streets of London behind, she reluctantly accepts and moves to a remote part of the southwest of England. There she takes up the job as housekeeper to the young and handsome, yet mysterious, Thaddeus Blake. Warned that he has some curious habits, Winter soon realizes that all is not as it firsts appears at the remote mansion where she now lives and works.

Winter McCall and Thaddeus Blake flee the burning mansion. Both are hunted by two relentless police officers and vampires. With time running out, Thaddeus leads Winnie towards Scotland, where he believes the Moonbeam, a precious stone with the ability to destroy those that hunt him, is hidden. But Thaddeus has held the Moonbeam before and with it came betrayal, madness and murder. Will the Moonbeam protect Thaddeus, last of the werewolves, or is he truly the only surviving member of his race?

Weak and still not yet a true vampire, Winnie McCall heads north toward Scotland in the company of the last of the werewolves, Thaddeus Blake. Hunted relentlessly by two police officers, Thaddeus and Winnie must find the Moonshine, a prism that when matched with the Moonbeam will destroy the vampires.
