Who in the actual F handled casting for this?!?? The female narrator is excellent. Great voice. Great acting. Great male voices in spite of how feminine her actual voice is, she still did a million times better with male voices and acting than the male narrator. I normally love dual narration in any kind of romance, erotica in particular, but she would've done this story much more justice if she did it all solo.

The male narrator absolutely butchered this. No woman on earth wants to listen to a man who sounds 75yr old say filthy things. Such a major turn off and cringe factor. Not only does he sound super geriatric, his performance is awful. Completely monotone. Flat. Absolutely no inflection whatsoever. Whether he was describing a white towel or detailing hot sex he sounded the same. It was really frustrating. Why on earth would anyone cast this man? Especially for this role. Did I mention he had a slight lisp on top of everything else? Worst part. I skipped book 1 and jumped straight to this one. Was desperately hoping b1 had a different male narrator..it doesn't.

Ugggh I needed that rant. I'm still pissed.

The story was decent. Pretty interesting and super spicey. Not a ton of depth, but depth is not what we buy this type of lit for lol.
