About this listen

Quinn's red light is on, and her job is to wrap "Shakespeare" in the steamy shadow she casts from it.

But sometimes, shadows waver.

To understand what Shakespeare truly needs from her, she'll need to take down both of his pen names find out...

She could blind him by her light of her explicit nature. But if she turns off her light, could they both find the solitude to feel whole in the dark?

"Shakespeare" is a new widower and is away from his family for the first time since his wife's death. Coincidentally, a serious acquaintance that doesn't know he is her favorite author, lives close to where he is staying for last night of his trip. He doesn't care about her nightly profession, if he's going to give someone money he would rather give it to someone he likes and knows about.

Two people, a lonely night in Atlanta, what will happen when the lights go off?

A tale of love, but for who and who for, for just one night without looking into the future.

his story uses the word Daddy as a term of endearment and contains themes of a life of a spicy accountant that takes place nine years before the events of Snowfall.

This is his second book I have listened to of his and I still enjoy reading/listening.

First the good. This is a beautifully written work of erotica, sensual, empathic, and just a wonderful story to read. I've read this story several times now, and enjoyed it more each time. It's not long, but the author has created something here that is just a joy to read.

Now, on to the Audible version. While the reading was clear and understandable, the narration was somewhat mechanical and unemotional. The narrator takes some truly wonderful material, and comes close to rendering it boring. I suggest sticking to the e-book version and skipping the audio, which is not my usual recommendation. I really like audio books, but not this one.

Exquisite writing and, sadly, poor narration

I enjoyed the story a lot interesting take and the Narrator enjoyed telling it.
With NSFW Titles that is key.

Sorry the narrator destroyed this for me.
I couldn’t finish listening, the voice was so, so wrong.
I might try reading the ebook instead to put a different voice (in my head) to Quinn.

My first experience with this author. The story was ok. I think it was supposed to pull some sort of sad feeling from me. It didn't happen. I think part of the problem was the narrator, Ruan Willow.

I get the gist of the story. Sad guy loses wife and wants to ease pain with hooker that looks like her. Hooker with a big heart gives him what he wants and then walks away. Basic Penthouse forum fantasy. Pretty much what I expected. So I'm not complaining about the actual story. It was OK.

What caused my deep, deep, deep disappointment was Ruan Willow and her absolutely awful narration. The quality of the recording is suspect. It sounded like it was recorded in a tunnel. Her words were slightly slurred and her effort to portray male voices was pathetic. The icing on the cake was the I'm-a-cow-in-the-throws-of-dying portrayal of sexy orgasm sounds. Ugh.I gave her one star because I wasn't able to give her zero. This lady should be reading cozy mysteries not quasi-erotic stories.

Very disappointed. Thought I'd found a new keeper author. Maybe I'll try him on kindle instead.

Narrator was just awful.
