About this listen

Dark. Mysterious. Gorgeous.

Loved by all the girls. Respected by all the guys.

As the heir to a billion-dollar empire, Kian Maston's future was promising - until the day he saved my life. Everything changed for both of us, and there was one more word that could be used to describe him: dangerous. The nation fell in love with Kian while falling in hate with me. He was sent to prison, and as far as they were concerned, it was my fault. I was forced to go into hiding until today.

Kian's being released from prison, and he should go back to being the golden boy he always was supposed to be. I should remain in hiding, living my life as normal as could be. That's what we should do....

Contains mature themes.

This was my guest book by Tijan. Will it be my last? No. I enjoyed the story. It did just kind of end abruptly for me. Not a cliffhanger, but just ended.

Not Bad!

Tijan is one of those authors that I will one-click everything she puts out and usually love every single story! But Kian didn't do it for me. The story was captivating and kept my attention but something was lacking with the narration. I didn't feel like the execution of the characters, especially Kian, hit the mark. This was my first audio experience by Saskia or Graham.

I enjoyed the unique story line around Kian and Jordan. I though the plot was incredibly creative and well executed. But something about how the book started to speed up near the end left me feeling like it was rushed to finish. The beginning was so slow and detailed but near the end it was as though the story was rushed through just to get to completion. I wanted more of Kian and Jordan after their romance started. I needed to know if going before the media and airing their dirty laundry was the right thing to do and how it played out. I'd love to see a follow up to this read, just to get more answers!

A slow burn story, left me needing a little more

The title says it all. It was ok, but not great. Not something I would listen to twice.

Long and anticlimactic.

I liked this book and had a hard time putting it down. I wish the characters were more developed prior to the death (I can’t call it murder like the book does cuz I don’t think it was). Some of the parts where there was supposed to be a profound statement fell flat and just seemed childish- but then again they pretty much still are children. This one could have added a couple hundred pages with back story and I would have given it more than 5 stars. I loved that the sex scenes were muted. Those get boring and over done. This was just the right amount for me.

Good story without a lot of boring sex scenes

I like Tijan’s book a lot. Kian was a little hard to keep up Sometimes it seemed to go in circles. It was a good story but you really have to pay attention so you don’t miss anything.

Tijan’s books are good!

I’ve read this book multiple times and I still love. This was my 1st hearing the audible and this performance made it better than I thought possible. Kian & Jordan’s love was beautiful my only problem was I wanted an epic epilogue like 20 years later married! Kids! I just didn’t want it to end 💕💕

Loved it

It’s ok. Fallen Crest is a good series. But do you always write about sad weak women who need to be rescued by some rich guy? She needs him to be whole, she needs him now…i think i would have liked the story a bit better if she didn’t always need people around her to save her all the time.

Meh

He killed for her...

OH. MY. GOSH. This book is simply brilliant. Loved this story!

Wow! Kian = dark, HOT and is to-die-for (I mean, a guy who sacrifices everything to protect his girl is absolutely to-die-for!).

This book was written with such emotion, darkness and mysterious that it captivates your attention, holding you hostage until you realise that the book and story is over, leaving you craving for more...

Full of darkness, mystery, suspense, trust, allure, intrigue, choices and romance.

Perfect for readers of dark romance/contemporary romance.

This narrator duo sucked me into the story right from the beginning! The narrator for the hero was unbelievably and undeniably alluring and compelling - so intriguing!

A dark, mysterious read!
