Not for the young ones!

Bullet is an awesome book but I hated the ending! I won't recommend a new reader to this book without them getting the entire series first but the story line makes sense. Just the fact that there was no closure to this book is irritating. I am still a die hard fan of Hamilton I've spent all my money on the other books why the heck should I stop now?!?!

Laurel K Hamilton is my Favorite Author

I read the Anita Blake series over a decade ago and absolutely loved it. It’s been wonderful reliving them through Audible. I sure hope Laurel decides to continue writing more books on the series.

Another winner for Laurel K. Hamilton

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I've been a fan for years of Anita Blake and this book keeps the story alive and vibrant. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
Kimberly Alexis is fabulous as always and I hope she stays on as the narrator for as long as there are Anita Blake books.

🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 This book is Hilarious in a PARTI...

In a PARTICULAR part this book was so funny as hell but funny in a "well oh shit damn" type of way.
I had to write this one out before this bool was over.
This part was not meant to be funny but it just is.

another anita blake story!!!

I have been following these stories since the beginning of time. As always, I get it the day it is released. I so enjoy her characters, get a little lost on the plot, with all that sex going on and forget who half the characters and how they are releated to each other in that confusing world of hers. I would never miss one, I think i'm just addicted!!!

Narrator rocks

I enjoyed this story. It is about how mother dark has taken over the counsel in Europe and now hopes to take over kisses of vampires in USA to feed of their energy. Anita of course has to stop her. The thing I disliked about this book was the sex scenes. The author has basically group rape scenes again. She also has scenes where Jean Claude and Richard are sleeping with another woman while Anita and her men are sleeping with another man. Then Anita has sex with a man and woman in front of an audience. Not my cup of tea in a story. This will be my last book I listen to. I love the narrator but not enough to listen to this type of story.

One of my favorites in the series

This one is one of my favorites in the series.
Although everytime I read it, I feel like the ending is a bit rushed.

Nonstop once it kicks in

This is one of my favorite books in the series because so much happens and the relationship drama is subservient to the action.
The story starts out innocuous enough with Anita and Co attending a dance recital. And then it all hits the fan, again and again, and again: Asher & the werehyenas; Belle, Padma & the Dark Mother; Max & Chang Bebe; Augustine; the Lions; healing & the Ardeur; Anarchy; Haven; Hit Men; Dark Stars; Atlanta; Golden Tigers; Mother and Father of Tigers.
Even when she’s overwhelmed, Anita gets up and faces the next challenge.

One of my all-time favorite book quotes: "Sometimes you end up between the cutlets and the cutlery with nowhere safe to stand".
And more Anita Blake words to live by: “But I was beginning to understand that the only difference between being the monster and being powerful was choosing not to be the monster. Not today. But there would always be tomorrow; and another chance to choose.”
Alexis does a decent job of narration.

Note: I was checking the author’s website today, and read there are some significant points in this book that will show up in the next book being published 2019-2020.
