This review is definitely going to come across as a mixed review; I’m just going to list my thoughts...
The narration is pretty tough to take. There are many instances where his speech is monotone. Unfortunately, there are other speech patterns that I can explain as awkward and unnatural.
Audio quality is amateur. There are many mistakes, throughout the book, that were not corrected; it was a distraction.
The beginning of the book had several prologues? These were used to demonstrate the H/h’s shared past. This was confusing and awkward. It was like the authors didn’t want to write a long book so they used the cliff notes to condense the first third of the book. I think flashbacks could have been used more successfully.
The resolution of the conflict was poorly done. The book just ended without satisfactory explanations.
Basically, this book read like a rough draft from brand new authors. I definitely wouldn’t recommend paying full price for this one.

Some good and some bad

This is a good story but a bit cookie cutter. This reminded me a a couple of other books I’ve read but over all I enjoyed the book. The recording could be better. It repeated multiple times and there appeared to be a slight background noise thru out the story like static that I’ve not noticed with the other books I’ve listened to on audible. Very slight so it doesn’t distract though

Good story.

it's a good book however for my personal tastes I wish there would have been a Male and female narrator.

good book

this story COULD be amazing if it's re-recorded by another narrator. maybe even dual narrators. Ken Solin is legit like listening to the Clear Eyes commercial actor. monotone. I've got two words... VOICE INFLECTION. it's very important when reading to someone and expecting to keep their attention. it was really hard not to stop listening to this book, but I wanted to hear how it ended.

great story. terrible narration.

they story was great but the narrator had a monotone voice. he cleared his voice, he repeated lines. his performance tool away from the story.

Narration is Important

This book was great but the way he read it, monotone, no pauses, just basic reading was horrible.

Narrator is horrible

Story was not the best but the narration was even worse. The voices were all very similar, even the women's voices. It is a dual point of view book, I had issues telling who's view point it was supposed to be. What made it worse was the horrid editing. Repeated words, repeated sentences and even throat clearing.

Lots of issues
