About this listen

Eight years....

That's how long it's been since my brother's been gone, and not a day goes by that it doesn't kill me, knowing that I'll never see Adric again. It's been a rough journey, one I've barely survived, but with the help of my childhood friend Kade Haze, I'm finally learning to piece what remains back together.

Or so I thought....

Just when life is beginning to make sense again and a feeling of normalcy is on the horizon, my carefully constructed walls come crashing down, making it hard to breathe once again.

When walking into the tattoo shop one day, the last thing I'm expecting to see is Kellan Haze, Adric's best friend who no one has seen or heard from since the day they found my brother's body. He's nothing like I remember him as a child, with his wild messy hair, tattoos that cover most of his undeniably sexy body, and eyes so intense they make my legs quiver with one look.

The one thing even I can't deny is the instant rush I feel just by being in his presence.

But how can I choose between love and lust when one of these holds a dark secret, one that can crush my world to pieces and leave me gasping for air? Who can I trust when my mind is pulling me in two different directions and my heart has to choose for me?

The Haze brothers are sexy, daring, and possibly...dangerous.

This Regret is a story of love, lust, betrayal, and danger with an ending no one will see coming.

Best narrative ever!!

This audio has ruined me for other audios. I loved how the male narrator spoke for all the men's parts regardless if that chapter was from the heroine's POV and thus being narrated by the female narrator. And Visa versa. Very Well Done!

Love the author’s writing style

Victoria Ashley knows how to write love stories with all the feelings. Her characters are flawed, realistic, and her stories are well worth a credit.

Great story

I loved this story . It was definitely hard to turn off . I will say I was thrown off by the male narrator. It was cheesy and made some parts of the book comical when they were meant to be romantic .

ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS HERE.. IT WAS GREAT

With this riveting well-paced story about want, need and desire.. about head vs heart.. about sacrifice, forgiveness and redemption against the backdrop of a profound loss that touched everyone.. and about the dark secrets tied to it. With this touching compelling story Victoria Ashley really brought her A game delivering an emotional, raw, romantic and captivating love story.. one that had suspense, sacrifice, sex, a cast of secondary characters and a full harvest of strategically placed feels when the dynamic duo of Fate and Destiny dish out second chances.

Victoria Ashley wrote about a beautiful twenty-three yr old heroine.. Phoenix who was a loving supportive protective sister and a caring understanding compassionate forgiving daughter. Phoenix was a trusted hard working employee who worked behind a bar. But she was still a grieving wounded sibling unable to really move on after the untimely soul-shattering emotional loss of her older beloved brother’s death. He always looked out for her together with his best friend Kellan who’d disappeared on the same day eight years previously. Phoenix had always had a crush on Kellan.. but she’d finally started to move on by the temptation and teasing of Kellan’s younger brother Kade who was her co-worker - and the first flickers of desire had lit. But they were going to be dowsed when Phoenix’s visit to a local tattoo shop brings overwhelming desire and lust for a familiar looking stranger. That encounter will leave her speechless and shell-shocked looking at a very different Kellan from her past.. and what follows will be a rollercoaster of desire, dreams and dreaded hope.. of passion, pleasure and possession.. of sky high bliss, sweet happiness, soul-to-soul bonding, sorrow, sudden dips and scary monsters seeking revenge.

Victoria Ashley also wrote an all consuming story about a twenty-eight yr old hero.. Kellan who was twisted up inside.. haunted by the death of his best friend and the guilt of what he’d done eight years previously which forced him to walk away - from his home, his life and all he loved. Kellan was the damaged tattooist hero who had finally but temporarily returned, knew he wouldn’t stay, but couldn’t stay away any longer. The big brother who’d walked away from his younger brother Kade leaving him with unanswered questions and hurting over Kellan’s abandonment. He’s the handsome tattooed pierced sex-on-a-stick dirty talking possessive alpha hero who’s about to fall deeply in love, know heartache, feel remorse, keep secrets, seek forgiveness, repent, rage.. and have to walk away.

Worth a credit? Wow this full of feels love story was great and tugged at my heart.. and the dual POV Duet style of narration by Kai and Wen is my favorite form performed by a skilled partnership of two talented narrators. So YEAH, abso-freakin-lutely it’s a creditworthy listen.

My Two Pennies

Wen blew me away with this narration, I felt very single emotion from each of the characters throughout the story. Kai knocked it out of the park and was hanging on every word. I was blown away by this story. We start off with Phoenix and Kade and I think it’s a sweet story that will definitely be bringing me to tears from time to time. When you add the other Haze man, Kade’s brother Kellan into the mix OMG the triangle will have you on the edge. Alright so maybe it’s not so much a love triangle but it’s pretty damn close. I’m team Kellan all the way, don’t get me wrong both brothers are all kinds of sexy and loving but there’s something about Kellan and the way he is with Phoenix that I just love. The twists and turns that are planted here and there throughout the book are great and have me wanting to read more and see what’s to come next. Loved this story and highly recommend.

Great Read

This Regret by Victoria Ashley was a great read. Phoenix not only lost her brother eight years ago but also his best friend Kellan. She always loved Kellan who kept her safe until he left that fateful day. I absolutely fell in love with Phoenix and Kellan and was rooting for them from the beginning. I can't wait to read more by Victoria Ashley.
