Publisher's summary

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Lauren Landish comes a sexy single dad romance.

I may be the hottest ticket in town, but even I have to do what my agent says. And he says I have a PR problem. I need to talk...to the press.

Elise Warner. She's a reporter, one with whom I should be careful. She'd love to get the scoop that secretly I'm a single dad and no one knows. I aim to keep it that way.

So I'm reluctant to open up, give my agent what he wants. But then she shows up, with sass and legs that won't quit.

I should keep her at a distance, but my arms want to pull her in close. She's temptation incarnate, making me want to spill everything, daring me to take charge of her body.

When things get more fiery than professional, will my secret be safe?

Hold on to your seat and ditch the blanket. This full-length single dad romance is sure to keep you warm. Complete with a happy ever after, no cheating, and no cliff-hanger.

Dirty talking country boy? Yes, please!

I’m really enjoying this series. Keith and Elise are so hot! Their chemistry is amazing, and that country boy is one hell of a dominant dirty talker! I liked the reporter/subject storyline and all the characters are great.

Sebastian York gets all the stars for this performance. I kept trying to listen to her chapters, but I couldn’t finish listening to Tracy Marks. Her narration was so exaggerated, and didn’t flow w/the story. After the first few chapters, In just listened to Sebastian’s chapters.

Great book, needs a better female narrator

Great story and Sebastian York always makes the book worth the listen with his sexy voice. What I did not enjoy was Tracy Mark's narriation, she seems to drag out the end of each sentence word to the point of annoyance and makes it difficult to enjoy the book. In my opinion the book would have been better off with only Sebastian being both Male and female narrator. I will now be skipping any books with Tracy as narrator as it in my opinion will be a waste of my money.

Really Dirty Laundry

Performance by both narrators was excellent, haven`t listen to SeBYork book in a while.
Story was pretty good and I`m glad it DIDNT` take the turn that I thought it would, pleasantly surprised.
Great characters throughout, my only issue and some may not even find it an issue was the way that some S*** had been described.
Don`t get me wrong I enjoy a good scene, I just found some of the descriptive a little over used.
Eh, maybe I`ve just read way too many of these books and have become accustomed to these descriptions, LOL.

Will the hot reporter 'out' the country singer?

Country singer, Keith Perkins, is an anomaly in his industry...he is not an arrogant playboy...in fact, the latest gossip rag shows him buying feminine products at the grocery store...what or whom is he hiding? Elise is a reporter and is tired of being assigned 'fluff' pieces. She hits pay dirt when she follows Keith Perkins into a grocery store! Her boss arranges for her to do an exclusive with Keith, which has her interacting with him for an extended period. Elise knows that Keith is hiding something big...the guy can't be so squeaky clean, can he? But she hasn't found anything. As the days go by, Elise and Keith find themselves attracted to each other and eventually leads to an affair. What will Elise do when she finally discovers Keith's secret? It is HUGE and could earn her some serious 'street cred'. When the story is stolen out from under her, will Keith believe that it is not her doing? I really loved Keith and Elise and was glad that they were able to work things out and thwart the creep that had turned to blackmail. Narration was perfect.

Re-marks

The female voice take so getting used to with her grading out pronunciations and slurring. I had t slow down her speech to stand her narrations. Even a a slower speed Sebastian York is amazing!

READ ALL ABOUT IT.. SWEET SECRETS AND HOT GOSSIP

This is my first book by Lauren Landish.. but it definitely won’t be the last because she’s written a well-paced, very entertaining, deliciously dirty and full of heart love story involving a famous music star who wants to keep his personal life private and a tabloid reporter who goes after some juicy gossip.. but gets so much more instead.

Country Singer Keith Perkins is all alpha.. he’s a dirty-minded, dirty-talking, dominant hero. However, his primary role as a famous single Dad, is to protect his twelve year old daughter from being exposed to the paparazzi frenzy and restricted life his fame would bring. And, when he agrees to a series of interviews for a tabloid newspaper because of some misleading pictures, he thinks he’ll be able to steer the interview, hide his secrets, keep his daughter out of the limelight and carry on with his very private private life. But he didn’t plan for Elise, for their instant attraction to blur lines, for their seismic chemistry to muddy the waters, for lust to bring out his dominant side.. and that Fate and Destiny would find the perfect woman for him.. and for his lifestyle.

And Elise? Well the lucky woman will be granted an all access pass to Keith Perkins the secretative Country singer. And that pass will lead to Keith the man, the bossy dirty lover, the loving protective dad, the gorgeous, sexy and talented performer.. and the person who is going to give her a sweet HEA. Keith respects her, treats her well, confides in and is guided by her.. and pushes sexual boundaries she’s all too willing to explore. However there is someone lurking in the shadows, watching, waiting and making shocking and devastating plans of his/her own which will bring tidal waves of drama to their calm waters.

Worth a credit? Yes it was a very entertaining and compelling dual POV romance of enemies-to-lovers between two well-developed, passionate, thoughtful and genuine characters. The narration by Tracy and Sebastian was a great fit for the characters, the storyline.. and me.

Secrets can't stay Hidden Forever

Lauren nailed the drama, romance, attraction, and real life. Keith has one goal other than his music, that is giving his daughter a real life or as much as possible out of the shadow of his music career, that has worked up until Elise walks into his life now he has desires beyond country music and secrets. Sebastian and Tracy are wonderful in bring this book to life, you melt when hearing Keith describe his feelings, his desire for Elise. If you read the book, the audio just makes it so much better and alive.
