About this listen

The Complete Collection of Dungeons. Delves, & Desires!
Includes the full trilogy and the post-series novella!

Books: Harness, Obtain, Capture
Novella: Plunder

Book One Synopsis:
Raymond had stood in the rain, the metal bat clenched tightly in his fists, and he watched the person he had given everything to. The clapping of their bodies rang out like rolling thunder, and the anger in his heart filled it to bursting. But just as Raymond decided to meet his love’s new lover face to face, a flash of pain brought him somewhere new.

The world of Gassenteer, and the Rainborn Valley.

Everything he knew about fantasy became his reality when he woke up and found that he was now considered a Dungeon Entity with two rare classes and an entirely new purpose. A flawed ritual may have brought him to that fateful cave, but the people within were what made him stay. Tasked with protecting them from a conquering tyrant known as the Warlock King, Raymond will build them their dungeon and fulfill his purpose. Only, he has one issue…

He will need Mana to build it, and they discover that there is only one way for him to gain any.

Follow the journey of a broken man who finds his self-repair within the company of an elven princess, a half-troll shaman, a forest dryad, and a pair of tinkering gnomes.

Uh, warning. This book? This book right here? This book right here has NSFW content and a lot of it. You knew that though, don't lie to yourself or to me. Definitely to me... Don't. I'll know.

mispronounced words, background noise, and missing plot?

Posy Rose appears to have made her debut with this title. Her timing was off, simple words were incorrect, and the background noise was present throughout the entire omnibus.

Timing-Posy changed her speed sporadically, speaking slower during "excited" periods and speeding up when important plot points were discussed. it felt like a nun was narrating the saucy scenes and rushed to finish them.
Incorrect words- "than" instead of "that," "surprise" instead of "surmise," you get the picture. along with that, mispronounced words were abundant, "ree-spite" instead of "res-pit" and the like.
background noise-coughing, sighing, car horns, and bass heavy music were all present in the assortment of sounds.

Ecco Castle-I've not researched this author, this was my first audiobook by Castle, and it'll be my last. Castle's work might have ended in English, but reads like it was tossed into a translator, twice, and then edited for grammatical errors. Along with this, the plot feels like it's missing around 30 hours of details, as the plot developed, the reader is forced to assume critical situations occurred but aren't given the information outright. the final ~3 hours(I listen at 1.3x speed) are used to clean up the plethora of loose ends left in the original series.

in conclusion, I feel bad having used a credit on this work, but if I can protect other readers from this, I'll call it a win.

SPOILER ALERT BEYOND THIS POINT

the protagonist is a forced participant between a "neutral" party and the antagonist. the antagonist turns out to be the good guy, the "neutral" party turns out to be the antagonist, and the protagonist is still a slave to the plot with no true feeling of having a choice. as choices arrive, the protagonist ALWAYS chooses the wrong path and then there is an hour of fixing that issue. the protagonist's sex requirement for mana was a fun concept upon introduction, but quickly became a point of anger for me, as he constantly refuses sexual encounters. what's the point of a HAREM fantasy wherein the MC tries to abstain every time he needs mana but runs out?

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
