About this listen

Mason the survivalist was always preparing for the end of the world. He just didn’t expect a god-like AI to transform it into a damn video game.

Now he has to pick a ‘class’, survive a ‘tutorial’ (filled with monstrous creatures trying to murder him), and somehow find his brother Blake before the idiot gets himself killed.

OK. Blake’s no idiot. He’s a charming, incredibly lucky, ambitious world-beater. But he was destined for corporate boardrooms, not monster filled forests, and Mason knows he needs to reach him before it’s too late.

But as he claws his way through this dangerous new world, gaining superhuman abilities and meeting a beautiful woman who desperately needs his help, he begins to realize: it just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

This is like real litrpg except with...massive horniness. Mason is great, pretty typical alpha MMC. Blake is an unusual MC but definitely fun for me, sort of like Ethan Aurelius from Cradle but...human and horny.

Actually well written harem

Hero doing great things against bad guys doing vile things. While that is pretty much the summary of most stories, it applies here. if you like action, daring, adventure, and intrigue, give it a try.

Awesome new release

it's a shame that one of the main characters is such a slimeball, because over all I enjoyed the story, I just disliked when his sections came up.

main character is unlikable

okay so there's two MCs Blake and mason , honestly the story was good but I just didn't like Blake at all dude has scumbag powers with a nasty personality, the only thing good about him it's his bond to mason. also this is a harem explicit story which I liked a lot. but surprised that it didn't say that it was on the description.

Good one

I liked the balance of the hot and action on this one . liked that the MC is not alone and has a relationship with bonded

This is a great book best I have read in awhile

so, the unfortunate part is that the actual premise and idea behind the book was surprisingly good. A godlike AI that has been left of purpose and is attempting to learn by using humanity as a testing ground is a really cool concept and might have opened a great narrative about the AI learning about the best parts of humanity that aren't strictly logical, such as love, honor, and compassion...

but unfortunately we seemingly picked the worst pair of characters to possibly follow in this scenario.

the first MC just feels... angry and bitter. Like I understand hating the AI but he was like that before the end of the world. he seems to hold his fellow man in contempt, leaves people to die, constantly complains about the state of mankind and goes on very 'alpha dudebro' rants about how being an apocalypse prepper made him better than the week sheeple around him. genuinely can't see what the girls see in this miserable man.

then things get worse when the second MC just starts to turn into a huge scumbag. Using what's effectively mind control on the people and women around him and... it's just gross. I had to leave it behind as I saw where this was heading.

cool concept, terrible execution

Left me with a feeling of contempt

Everything about the book had great potential!

The things that killed it was I hated the second mc. He was a narcissistic, manipulative, borderline rapist. I mean mind control to help get into women’s pants because you really want it. Yup that was a poor choice. Also, the other mc which I liked mostly, he took a turn for the worst with treating his lady like a possession. Ok some people get off on that but really?

All in all I listened to the end and can say if you like subpar primal hunter and treating woman like things. This book is for you. Otherwise wouldn’t recommend.

It had such promise!!!!!
