About this listen

WARNING: This is a sexy, steamy reverse harem paranormal romance (one girl, four guys) with loads of humor, plumber puns, and group sex. Read with a glass of wine and a smile!

Four hunky, supernatural plumbers. One reluctant, slightly drunk human. A match made in heaven … or in the bathroom, rather.

My name is Arizona Smoke, and I'm the proud owner of a house haunted by my dead Gram, best friend to a cocktail dress loving werewolf, and apparent soul mate to four plumbers who also happen to be elemental dragons. Besides rippling pectorals, tattoos, and … uh, nice, long pipes, the guys also have control of the elements.

Supernatural law (whoever heard of such a thing anyway?) dictates that since I stumbled upon the guys in their alternate forms, I have to marry them. All four of them. Oh, and apparently one lousy (okay, awesome) night of sex means that I'm an elemental, too—and no amount of magical penicillin can cure this disease.

All I wanted was hot running water and toilets that flushed, but now I'm dealing with monsters lurking in the sewers, supernatural politics, and four penniless (but totally hot) plumbers living in my crumbling old Victorian.

I'm Ari Smoke, wine aficionado, ex-barista, and a girl who is completely out of her element. Having four hot husbands is nice … but the death threats, not so much.

The story is a bit hard to follow mixed with all the plumber puns but it’s entertaining. Arizona has a tag line. See if you can figure it out. Enjoy!

Puns galore

Listening to this book, actually made me laugh harder than when I just read it. The jokes, the wittiness, the interaction of each character was awesome. Her accent matched what the character depicted. I loved being able to listen while I drove to and from work. The plumber puns got old after a while and so did a few of her comments. Sometimes the H made me want to scream at her and just get out of her own head and back to the story.

Hilarious

I didn’t dislike this first book but I think when an author is trying to make a book funny it can either work or not. The book was comical but I think it was too much and felt at a lot of times trying too hard.
I also didn’t like the southern accent. It came off as hillbilly instead of hot southern guy

The potential is there

This book is exceptional. I really enjoyed the writing and narration. Usually with extremely hot books the story line isn't very good and you're just waiting for the next lusty scene. This book introduces a new sort of mystical world and a taboo way of life while being hilarious!

Bridie Lawrence really brings the book to life. She is able to capture the characters and was perfectly in sync with the writing. I usually only listen to series books but I might buy a few of the singles she has narrated just to experience her energy again! From what I can tell she doesn't currently have any other series out there yet.

Definitely a must listen!!!

Extremely entertaining!

I loved being able to switch back and forth between audio and kindle reading. This book was phenomenal! Two amazing authors came to deliver a book that was full of crazy puns, a good storyline and lovable characters. Ready for the next book. The narrator was perfect and added extra flair to the book!

Love this book!

I have listened to this book countless times, and read the other two in the series. The narrator makes this book come alive. what a great read.

endless amusement

The repeated I am a barista not a…. Fill in over 15 different things was said over and over. I have fallen in love with Tate James books but this one was just not even close to being up to her par of writing. If I had not paid for this book and the other two like an idiot…because I thought Tate James, must be good…I definitely would not have finished it. I REALLY hope the next one is better.

Very hard to finish

Very good story. Awkward narration of accents and male voices. A LOT of unnecessary cussing. Almost like a kid saying them just because they're 'bad' words. After a while the plumbing jokes were just too much.
Through all of this I'm still looking forward to the next one.

I enjoyed the story, but the writing was a bit rough in some areas. The drinking was a little over the top, and her relentless comments of being a barista grated on my nerves. The puns didn't bother me as much, but they too were overdone. I enjoy both writers, but the overall tone of this was juvenile. Not my favorite of CM Stunich, but I will be continuing with the series. It's still worth a credit.

Good story. Ok writing. Good narrator
