About this listen

The red head

I never had a home until I was an adult, living in foster care as a kid. Now, I have a family, one I chose for me. But I'd always longed for a man I could call my forever. Instead, I found two, and they both want me. So how do I choose between them?

The doctor

I found the woman I want for life, and she's in love with me. But she also loves another man. When he comes to me and proposes sharing her, I am shocked. I don't share. But what if she doesn't choose me over him? And why is it every time he looks at me, I long for him almost as much as I do her?

The fireman

I can't choose between him and her, so why not have them both? He's not interested in me, but I'd rather have them together than not have them at all. They are both mine, he just doesn't know it yet.

Contains mature themes.

California dude

I like the story and detail and... pretty much all it. Except for this one itsy bitsy little detail. Alex Kydd has a... particular voice that I just dont find attractive. He has a VERY California dude accent that doesn't change between guy A and guy B. Which in and of itself does get a bit confusing anyway. Otherwise give it a go.

Love the story ❤️

At first I wasn’t happy with the narration, but I absolutely loved the story. I thought it was really good. I loved the bonus epilogue 😞

Hoped for better based on other books by author....

No offense but the male voice was awful for this book. His voice is unique and is probably great for other stories but definitely not this one. That alone almost ruined this book for me. All in all this was an okay one.

Great story…mehh male narrator

Okay, okay…I’ll lead with the good here…ultimately, I loved this one. It had all the things…a bit of drama, angst, sweet and tender this, hot and spicy that…yada yada…

However…I am bound by all things sensible to agree with most reviewers on the performance of the male narrator. Thank goodness it got a little better midway and I could listen to the story without cringing at all the weird…I mean…I only have so much room in my brain for the Keanu Reeves-type voice…and he occupies it all.

I swear…it truly would have been excellent had the female narrator done all the parts…food for thought, dearest Leigh.

Seriously though…I think I got past the whole wrong-voice thing because I really grew to love the MMCs…all credited to the author’s capable pen…typewriter? PC? iPad? Whatever…good job!

That said…this second book in the series is lovely…for continuity’s sake, push through it and you’ll be smiling like a crazy person in quite a few spots in most chapters, AFTER sayyyy…the first three or four…promise…

Enjoy!💖

Good story. Male voice bothersome

The story was very good but the male narrator’s (Alex Kidd) typical accent was sooo “surfer dude” which was not appropriate for either of the lead male characters or the setting of Chicago. He was very good doing accents of other characters but it was hard to remember which lead character he was in any given chapter because they sounded the same. The female narrator was fine. I might read the book again but I’ll avoid other books narrated by Kidd

Annoying main character and not great male narrator

I did not like scarlets character. She never took the blame and always blamed the guys when she was just as much as fault in situations. *SPOILER*** When the boys made up she blamed Levi on jordan leaving when scarlet was just as much at fault at pushing Jordan. She was an annoying whiney character and Jordan was way too annoying majority of the time. Honestly Levi should’ve just left both the crazies and found someone who actually deserved his love. Also wasn’t a huge fan of the male narrator.
