Falcon’s Prey is everything you would want in a dark read. It is wicked, delicious, mysterious, and filled with heart-stopping drama and thrills. The overall storyline is incredibly addicting. I completely lost track of time and space and if it was not for my hubs/dogs, I probably would have just kept reading. The plotline that she has mapped out was brilliant!

C. Lymari had a perfect blend of characters. Ren😍, oh Ren, he is a jerk and Ember is truly a bitch, but this is what works for them (besides exterior beauty/hotness) is the combustible nature that they exude. They are both hiding secrets and mix this in with their personalities and you get an explosive couple. Their storyline is somewhat relatable. Am I a spoiled, misunderstood, and selfish diamond princess? No, I am not, but it is the situational and emotional aspects of this book that make it relatable to people (the same goes for Mr. Ren Falcon).

Now if you are into the ‘sweet, make you feel good romances’, this may not be the book for you, but if you’ve been dying to step into the dark pool, Falcon’s Prey, may be right for you. Overall, I loved every aspect of this book. I wanted to be their personal cheerleader and of course, I thought I was their personal six, but that was only in my mind. Falcon’s Prey is worth every star!!

I fell in love with Ren and Ember when I read this book, but hearing it in audio made me love it more!!!

Ember might seem like a perfect diamond princess with the perfect rich girl life, but there is so much more to her. Ren is her new bodyguard, and this man is ALL alpha and hot!! Their story is dark, with action, and amazing spice. I love this book!!!

Cat brought Ember to life perfectly, with her sassiness and all the emotions. And Javi was PERFECT as Ren!!! You HAVE to listen to this book!!!

Y’all this book definitely started off with a bang and I absolutely love it! As soon as Ren and Ember meet it’s insta hate. These two just keep clashing at every turns and it’s so much fun to watch their train wreck!

Omg y’all this book has my emotions all over the place! Ember is going through a ton of crap and she’s in so much pain that no one else knows about.

This is a story about a girl who’s lost and can’t find her way... she may be super rich but not all that glitters is gold... Ren and Ember are like fire and ice together and when they clash, things get a hell of a lot more interesting!

A riveting read (listen) that kept me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. There were twists and turns that I did not see coming. Ember was a little too whiny for me. I was glad that "justice" was served by the end.

My first experience with both Javi Wilder and Cat Borraco and I enjoyed listening to both of them narrate and bring Ren and Ember's story to life. I look forward to listening to them both more in the future.

This is the first book I've read/listened to by C. Lymari. I almost passed it up. I'm so glad I didn't. Ren and Ember had a turbulent relationship that ended in beauty. I really didn't like either character at first. But this author changed my feelings. The longer I listened, the more invested I became. My heart squeezed for Ember. Physically hurt. I felt sick for her. I had tears in my eyes. It was emotionally draining. There were some twists that I saw coming, but others I did not. Loved the storyline. This dark and intense listen was impossible to pause. So glad I picked this one up.

Javi Wilder and Cat Borraco are excellent narrators. They perform with such emotion. The audiobook rolled like a movie in my head. Perfect performances from both narrators.

Honestly loved it just like the first time. I keep saying it reminds me a Mexican novela (soap opera) & I swear it never disappoints. It’s dark so please check trigger warnings. I laughed out loud when Gideon comes in the picture. He’s hilarious & I want to know more about him. I believe there’s a book on him so I’ll for sure look into it next.

Falcon’s Prey was a gripping, dark romance. There were so many twists and turns in this story that it made my head spin. I was on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next.

Ember was a selfish and narcissistic and Ren was cruel and got high on violence. Yet these two worked together and they were better together than apart. They were combustive. When they were in a room together, you could feel the sexual chemistry and then when it developed into more, I found myself rooting for these two. I couldn’t wait for them to get revenge on those who had betrayed them and to be together freely. They were the perfect fit for one another.

Cat Baroco and Javi Wilder were new narrators to me and did a great job of bringing the story to life. I loved that it was in duet narration. Javi was fantastic as Ren and I loved the growly aspect to his voice. Cat also did a nice job of bringing Ember to life.

If you like dark, dangerous romances, this is a book for you. Ember and Ren will make your heart race and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Ember is spoiled, sassy, she uses drugs and alcohol to dull her pain.
Ren is her new bodyguard a dominate, an alpha male. He’s a take no crap person. He has his hands full with her.
This story is dark, intense, action packed, and spicy. I didn’t like Ember at first,, but as the story develops, her vulnerability shows, she actually shows her true self.
Cat Borraco captures Ember’s sassiness and vulnerability perfectly. Javi Wilder oh so sexy REN is very good. 🔥

This is the first book I have read by C. Lymari. I loved this book. This is a dark romance. Ember is the diamond heiress and someone is trying to kill her. Falcon is her newest bodyguard with a secret identity. Even though they came from different backgrounds they both have darkness that calls to each other. Cat Baroco and Javi Wilder did an incredible job narrating this book in duet style narration.
