Grave Secrets is Book 1 in the Prophecies of Angels and Demons series. And the audiobook is fantastic! I really enjoyed the narrator doing different voices for different characters! It helped me keep track of who's talking and not get lost in the story. The pacing is a little off but when it's fast paced you can't stop listening! I really enjoy Urban fantasy and you add in some romance and a dash of mystery and its the perfect mix!! I'm really excited for Book 2!!

Book 1 in the Prophecies Of Angels Amd Demons series, I was so intrigued by this book and was so enthralled with it the entire time I listened. @alexa_narrates did a wonderful job with the reading and the tale flowed so well. I loved the storytelling aspect and the flashbacks to previous times that were important to the furthering of the story. The ending has me so ready to read more in the series! I highly recommend this one, especially if you love a little bit of intrigue, urban fantasy and some spice!

What she finds is that her uncle has quite the sordid past, and his reach extends beyond the grave. I listened to Grave Secrets by Cassandra Aston which is being narrated by @alexa_narrates! I really enjoyed this one! Grave Secrets is the 1st book in the Prophecies of Angels and Demons series! This is a Fantasy Romance, Dark Fantasy, Urban Fantasy with a moderate steam/heat level! This audio book is 16 hours long but you get engrossed in the story and goes by quickly! I really enjoyed the characters in this story and how the story unfolds! The writing style definitely makes it easy to imagine the world she created! Allie is a really likable character! This is definitely a fast paced story and will make you wanting to pick up book 2 when it does come out!

Grave Secrets is the 1st book in the Prophecies of Angels and Demons series. This was a fascinating tale that grabbed my attention from start to finish. 

This novel was well-written and layered, and the author did an incredible job with all the unexpected twists and turns that kept coming up as the story progressed. Her writing style made it easy for me to picture every detail of the world she created.

The story follows Allie, a demon Slayer, whose 6 years of service to the Angles is coming to an end, and her mind is about to be wiped clean. 

Not knowing what she will do, she heads to the mansion she inherited and tries to learn about her family history.  There, she meets Simon, who has been taking care of the estate and is more than happy to tell her stories about her ancestors. However, the more she learns, the more questions arise  and it all had me wanting to know more and unable to put the book down.

The story was fast-paced, intriguing, and engrossing, and I was left guessing right up to the very end.

However, as much as I loved the story, I felt the FMC Allie didn't really fit certain parts of the story. She came across as childish and a bit irrational at times, which annoyed me. Luckily, I was able to ignore that as the story itself really pulled me in. 

This was a fantastic read, and I would definitely recommend it  to lovers of fantasy romance. 

I listened to the audiobook version, which was narrated by Alexa Borys. She did a great job with the characters, giving them varying voices and their own emotion. Her narration was clear and understandable, making it easy to follow along with the story. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.

With more than 500 pages, Graves Secrets is a somewhat intimidating fantasy book, yet I inhaled this book. I listened the audiobook, and the narrator is amazing! From the moment, I started reading Grave Secrets, I was lured into a fantasy world filled with reash, angels, demons, and magicians. I felt so connected to the characters, and I loved the romance and the magic system.

When we meet 23 year-old Allie Graves, she has one month before her memories of the last six years are erased. She served as a reash for angels since she was 17. Using her third eye and blessed sword, she fights demons with the guidance of her handler, Gabriel. Near the time that her memories are scheduled to be erased by the angels, she meets a yellow-eyed Simon in her apartment and begins to question her reality.

It’s difficult to go into detail about the book without giving away the magic and what and who everyone is. Which is my favorite part! Grave Secrets magic system is alluring and complex. So, this is a book where you can expect the unexpected.

The imagery is incredible and the world building is fantastic. I realized that a reread may be in order, because I missed so many clues the first time around. But, this is a book that I’m not sure my heart can take rereading so easily. I can’t wait to read book two!

Allie is an unwilling demon hunter and discovered she has 2 weeks left before the angels she work for are going to wipe her memories. She decides to spend those last two weeks finding out more about her family, and she discovers a lot more than she bargained for. Her family home is a creepy mansion vibes with hidden rooms, occult secrets, and so much more, and I am here for it! It was so intriguing and we discovered more secrets about the house and her family’s past at every turn. I was truly invested waiting to find out the next secret.

Simon, the MMC, as a very mysterious and questionable past that had my dying to learn more about him. He’s an anomaly and we discover more about him right alongside Allie. The romance is not insta-love, but not quite slow burn either. I was rooting for them the entire time!

Grave Secrets has the perfect balance of romance, the occult, demons, and mystery. I think this book could have been a little shorter with less recap of Simon’s life, but I enjoyed it all the same. I can’t say much about the ending without giving away spoilers, but it was a really interesting take that I truly enjoyed! I highly recommend the audiobook for this Grace Secrets, I thought the narrator was great!

I enjoyed this audiobook so much! The banter, the sarcasm, the secrets and Simons story telling 😂 kept me turning page after page!

Allie and Simon build the best relationship. Their banter was amazing and the way their polar opposites compliment each other just made me happy! And let’s talk about the twists…. 😳😳😳I cannot wait for book 2!

The plot and story was not what I was expecting or had even considered. Without giving anything away, how characters and the story progressed was completely different then anything I have read before.
