This is such a wonderfully different than other Alpha/omega stories. All the others are so dark. This one is a true romance. Sweet and happy! I really recommend this book.

Having already read the book, I was really excited to learn that it was now also available in audiobook. The thing with audiobooks are that sometimes they can make or break the voices that us readers have already imagined in our heads. The narrator in the book did a really amazing job, even with voicing the female characters. He didn't miss a beat and kept me interested in what was going to happen next even though I already knew what was going to happen.

This is a MF Omegaverse story but it's not the typical MF Omegaverse. Most of the books I've read in this genre, the Alpha dynamics are usually in charge. This author real changes thing up in this one and it's really a nice change. Our Omega heroine is the one who ends up saving the hero in this book. She's smart and successful and doesn't have to hide her dynamics at all. Like I said, a very refreshing take on this genre that can be quite dark and disturbing. One of the few authors who I usually recommend for first time readers of this genre.

This was a different kind of omegaverse story where betas have the power and Alpha's are imprisoned in camps for the safety of the population. While it doesn't quite have the same intensity as typical alpha/omega pairings, I loved the unique story line and the sweeter romance. I enjoyed seeing an Omega in charge of her own fate while still getting some of that alpha hotness. I can't say that I loved the narration. it seemed a bit rushed and I would have preferred a female narrator. Overall, I enjoyed this audio book and would recommend it to those who are open to unique love stories.

After having read the book in Kindle form, I was given the opportunity to listen to it via audible. I am a huge audiobook fan/listener. This wasn’t a narration I much enjoyed. I found the narrator sounded just a bit rushed so I slowed the narration down to .9x and that helped with the rushing. But another problem I seemed to hear was an odd emphasis on random words while he read the story, almost pattern like at times. That became very bothersome to me quickly.

I prefer to have a female narrator when there is more than one POV and only one narrator. Most male narrators don’t have the ability to make their voices sound feminine, without sounding like an effeminate male.

The narrator’s voice has a pleasant tone. I felt like he may have been uncomfortable with what he was reading. It sounded more like a factual telling than an emotional one.

I got this book for free for a honest review. I enjoyed the story, though I struggled to like the omega Sandra. The naration was ok. Over all it was very good ansd will listen to it again.

I liked this one. It was an interesting take with alphas being deemed unsafe.

The audiobook narration was odd. I think it would’ve been better with a female narrator. Also there was a fuzzy sound when the narrator with speak.

I really like the change up with the Omegaverse dynamic. Austin and Sandra are hotHotHOT together. An accidental bonding, drama, ultimatums, twists, and turns. Worth the read. Wish the audible was less ‘reading out loud’ and more ‘speaking his truth’—lacked emotion in his reading. Hurts my heart to say that. Would still recommend.

I love Leann and her books so much and was very excited when the Hired Series came to audible. The only critique I have is books that have two POV’s, it’s really awkward for me, to hear it all read in one voice. I like hearing a females voice for a female POV and a males voice for a males POV.

This is a story filled with world building that is amazing. The vivid details make the story come to life with the imagery it induces. The chemistry and steam is on point and the plot gives a nice well rounded story. i really enjoyed listening!
