While I did enjoy listening to the book, I think I prefer to read this one. When I read this story, I always picture/hear a deeper voice for Daddy/Justin.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I wasn't really sure if I would like "Daddy kink" but this book was NOTHING like I was expecting. The only 'kinky' thing in this book is when they call each other 'boy' and 'Daddy'. This book was a hot, quick, dirty read and it even had a little bit of a story too! No major angst.

This was one of the best novella’s I’ve ever read/listened too. It has a story that’s believable, fun, and sexy with a dash of kink and possession. Even with the shorter length, you still feel like you got a full story. The characters are both oblivious to each others feelings which makes this one even more fun! The audio was great.

What does Nick J. Russo and Dorian Bane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It was amazing having 2 such amazing voices. It was just amazing. I read the book but hearing it made it a million times more amazing. I wish more books had the two narrators to give the characters more depth.Damn , I felt like I was there experiencing everything-- they were that potent.

If you could take any character from His Boy out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Can't choose I want both-- they are both so hot in different ways

Five stars for this short, sexy, steamy friends to lovers story.

Asher and Justin’s story started from being friends, roommates to friends with benefits to finally being husbands.

The story is low on angst, although Asher’s freak out moments tend to be redundant. It’s understandable since he was only protecting himself, but thank goodness Justin refused to back down and instead he talked him thru it.

The Daddy and Boy kink didn’t become too much since it wasn’t laced with BDSM. Their daddy & boy relationship was more centered on taking care of each other, more of the softer emotional side. Oh, but they are so hot for each other.

It’s a fun, sweet read. The epilogue was a great bonus.

Also, this duet narration is awesome to listen to. It’s the first time I’ve heard of from an M/M romance book. Excellent job Dorian Bane and Nick Russo.

Asher is a nerdy geek who works at home for the government. He’s shy, not very outgoing, caring and submissive.
And Justin, the guy is the wet dream of most men and women. An early 40 firefighter who’s tall, well built, dominant and playful silver fox.



Asher and Justin have been roommates for 3 years and they were happy to be in a platonic relationship. However, things changed suddenly when Asher caught a serious flu and Justin volunteered to take care of him. This book is filled with sex, LOTS of sex and not JUST any sex, VERY filthy, erotic, kinky and deliciously dirty sex. And I loved every single second of it. The story is simple and there’s no angst whatsoever. It’s about two guys finally realizing that they are in love with each other and they got an epic HEA. But what’s in between that beginning and the end, that was one of the hottest and sexiest scenes I’ve ever read. This one made my lady boner very VERY happy. 😂 Even the very first sentence of the very first page blew me away. It’s THAT good. 😱 And I also love the fact that it’s written by both MC’s PoV. 😍 Really, if you are into daddy and boys, read this NOW! 😱😘

I hadn't read the book previous to listening to the audio so I don't know if I'd find it equally hot or if it was the amazing narration that made it so, but in any case this was basically hot, hot and hot.

Holy hotness Daddy! This was a great read, and an even more amazing audio presentation. Asher and Justin were roommates turned friends with benefits, turned Daddy/Boy, turned caught feelings. This book is filled with all the best tropes: Daddy kink, May/December, and friends to lovers.

The dual narration of this book really fits these characters well and is best listened to with headphones!
