Sure it was love, but from the day she said she needed space for nearly everyday/night after he had a different girl.. Not sure I would have been just whatever about that her fault with the space and all or not.. just a little much. Other than that, I'm glad they found each other.. Good ending too.

The Hero: Logan Kade (#sexmachine) - if you have ever read any of the Fallen Crest series, you know Logan and probably love him. He is cocky, self-assured, hot as hell and hilarious to boot. He is the total package. He is good at sports, a loyal friend and brother and is always very popular with the ladies. He is the guy other guys want to be and all the girls want. He has had two serious girlfriends in the past, though hurt his family by telling his brother Mason that Logan was in love with Mason’s girl Sam. Though Logan thought of her as a friend and sister. Now he loved sex, loved to party and loved to fight.

The heroine: Taylor Bruce - she lived with her father, who was a coach for Cain University since her mother died last year. Taylor and her dad have just been roommates and nothing else. Her father has changed and had dates come to the house and rarely talked to Taylor. Taylor just started at Cain University as a transfer freshman. Taylor had a steady boyfriend through high school until the day her mother died.

The Story: Taylor and two of her friends show up at a party. Her friend Jason was worried that the Logan Kade would be there since the guy he used to work for had a run in with Logan the previous year. Logan was at the party and there was nearly a fight, though not between Jason and Logan but it was enough to pique Taylor’s interest about Logan.

The characters were great, especially Logan, Mason, Sam and Nate. Taylor was a bit boring for my tastes. I thought someone who caught the eye of Logan Kade and kept it on her would be more special in some way. Maybe a bit fiercer and funnier. The storyline about her mother’s death was a bit of a downer, I wished she had a different backstory as well. Though overall, the book held my interest. I just expected so much from Logan’s book, that it was a bit of a letdown. I did love the Loganisms and his overall attitude most of the time.

This was the second time I read the book, the first time on Kindle and this time via audiobook. I read it first in 2018, so it has been nearly 6 years. I think I liked it better the first time, since I read it with the rest of the Fallen Crest series. Though I did still love it this time. Logan is so cool. He is hilariously funny, sexy and fiercely protective of everyone he loves. The ultimate Alpha male with a heart of gold. If only he wasn’t such a Manwhore in previous books. Though once he starts dating a girl he doesn’t cheat, he did learn well from the sins of his father.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Summer Morton and Graham Halstead. At first, I thought Graham Halstead was ok, but not one of my favorite male narrators. His voice was not deep enough for my liking and just not sexy enough for Logan. Though after a while the snarky/cocky quality of his voice really grew on me, and I liked it quite a bit. Summer Morton has a great voice and is terrific at showing emotion through her voice

I loved that Logan finally got his own book! I wanted to kill him so many times but i was happy to get a peek at his inner workings. Taylor was a great addition to the crew. As always, i adore the Fallen crest Characters and story. I gotta say though that Nate's character is really starting to bug me. He is constantly whining and feels so weak in comparison to the Kade brothers. Despite that, this series is high on my list.

Narration and editing were both high quality. Great performances!

I'm already a huge fan of Tijan, but hearing her books brought to life through an audiobook makes it even better! Logan Kade will always be my favorite book boyfriend! This book is amazing!

I was looking forward to this book to hear more about Logan and get more perspective on his character but this book seemed to be more about Taylor than Logan so on it’s own it would have been a good story but definitely shouldn’t be called Logan Kade because he only had a few chapters so I’m very disappointed with.

This book was good and yet I got to admit I was a bit disappointed. I had in my head that I was going to see another Sam and Mason relationship when it came time for Logan's story. While I think that's how Logan and Taylor will be after...it's not what we got in this book.

I get it. Logan is not Mason. I've always felt Logan is the most damaged out of all of them so yes, I do get why the author didn't mimic them. I just loved the instant bond we saw with those two that I was hoping for the same here.

We still have tons of drama but for once it was Taylor and her friend Jason's drama and not really anything with the Kades. I think Nate needs to find his soulmate next.

Logan MFn Kade..not.gonna lie Logan could totally turn me into a couger. I've read all the of Fallen Crest series now I'm listening to them, Logan is every womans bad boy dream and Taylor is 1 lucky woman..the story grips you by all the feels..Tijan did it again , and not once with any of Tijan books have I been disappointed. they just keep getting better!!

Taylor come back to Cain college after her mom passing and she wanted to be alone and she distant herself from her friends and her father abandon her he couldn’t handle the death of his wife. Logan is a fuck boy and a little jaded until he sees Taylor and he want her so they become friends until one night they cross a line and they start having sex and then Taylor break up with him because she scare.
