Mathias Rowan in one of his duties in search for a killer that was responsible for all the death in their location. While he was conducting his duties he came in contact with a breakwater. But at first he did not know that she was until he spend time with her. It was then that he find out that she was a breedmate and she was hiding something from her past. Before he known it he was in love and find himself bring out about her past. Including those she running from He did save her. Although it was very brief story.

I love the breed series and this one was no different. The only issue that I had was that I need more information on Nova. Or at least promise to finish her backstory in a future novel. Most breed females don't know who they are but she does. She also has a breed father. Where did she come from? These are the questions that I'm left with after finishing this book.

I enjoyed Mathias Roane's story. I wish it had been a novel. He's a truly passionate and caring breed male. Nova's a sweet and spicy breed mate. They make the perfect couple. The fact that they are going to care for Eddie reminds me of Mira. Great story!

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

A great story as usual from Lara Adrian. I knew as I started it that it was a novella but even with that in mind I felt it was too short. The romance was rushed too much for the story to be completely acceptable to the reader IMO.

Another thing that I found missing was Nova's backstory. Some of it was told but not enough to satisfy me. I wanted the whole story about her. I feel like I've been left hanging.

Although Hillary Huber is one of my favorite narrators I was sort of disappointed in her performance this time around. She didn't give Mathias his Boston accent. She did it previously, multiple times in fact, in the older books but not this time. Not cool Huber.
