About this listen

I've spent most of my time in a cage. A beautiful steel structure that gives me a sense of safety.

I've been let out, and I don't like this. I can't tell if this is a mind game or if I'm no longer of use. Nothing seems real anymore, and I've been left alone.

I want to be put back into the world I know, but he's been gone for days, and I don't know when he'll come home, or if he'll come home, and it breaks my heart. I won't try to run. I won't try to escape and gain some false sense of freedom. If I've earned that much, there's no doubt he would have granted it to me. I don't know how much longer I can survive without him. I want him to come home so that I know I haven't failed him in some way. Sir? Do you still need me like I need you? Please? Can I go back into the cage?

Now wait a minute...

This story was incredibly unique, that's for sure. I don't even know what I expected but I assure you, you won't read anythig like it. Pure carnage, in case you hadn't noticed, there's a tag on this story indicating it is HORROR. Do your research on what that means maybe. Lol otherwise you may get more than you bargained for.

What an amazing journey!!

Yolanda Olson's stories are always gripping, but to hear them aloud is truly a wonderful thing. The words she puts to paper coming out of my speakers never ceases to entertain the dark parts of my soul, and the titalation of thinking that someone driving past me could get a snippet of the story is entertaining as well.
This story is definitely not for the meek, but if you want a dark story that will stay with you for a while, you need to hear about the girl and her Sir.

Victim or Perpetrator

The question remained even at the end, I thought this was a Stockholm situation until certain twists where reveal, this is a short psychological thriller I recommend for a change of genre.

Attention seeking

Dayem...there's something about Yolanda's short stories that appeals to the macabre. I enjoyed the deception in this and the senile like moment lol.
If you have triggers or can't handle gore, best you find something else.

Surprising

I knew from the reviews that the ending would be unsuspected, but wow! Interesting, quick read if you have the stomach for it.

Yolanda’s books always give me chills and goosebumps! Milk and Honey is a short quick listen and very intriguing. This narration and storyline was quite the experience, but would have loved a more in depth experience! Give me more!!! Please.

Total Mind Bang

What happens when the captive becomes the captor?

What happens when what used to be a punishment is now a reward?

Milk and Honey, that's what happens. We are taken on a journey and see all through the perspective of a captive that has been conditioned. And all she wants is her place back where Sir likes her.

Audio provided and I decided to leave an honest review. The narrator, Amber Meadows, did an outstanding job at in portraying all the emotion and insane inner turmoil our FMC went through.
