About this listen

I never thought I could love a monster. Then I met Machi.

I shouldn't have been there that night. I shouldn't have seen that man die - or the face of his killer. Every part of me wanted to run and hide, to escape and forget what I saw.

But then he caught me. He stole me and pushed me into his world. He said if I listened to him, he could give me what I wanted...my freedom.

He forgot to mention that freedom comes with a price. I'm going to be auctioned off and there's nothing I can do to change that.

He wants me to believe that he isn't the bad guy. But I know better. Except...his hard jaw and full lips are hard to ignore, his voice makes my heart flutter, and his hands - his hands are purely toxic, unfurling my body with one touch.

He's a monster, and monsters lie. They lurk in the dark and rain hell on your soul.

I never thought that loving one was possible. Until I met him.

Note from the author: Pushed is a full-length, dark romance novel with no cliffhanger. This book has material that could make some uncomfortable. It's gritty and raw in the best way, but you won't know until you step in and listen to it for yourself.

Leah,
Loved the story. It could be a five star, but, needs to be edited. Description is so important, but not to the point where the reader is screaming, " COME ON, MOVE ON." I almost didn't finish the book. I'm glad I did. I hope you take this as constructive criticism. I look forward to your future stories. Good luck.

The narrators of the story really kept the story moving for me. The story itself completely and totally wrecked me. I did not want it to end. The characters Machi and Imperial are memorable and strong. You will not be disappointed with this book!!

Wow just wow. This book was amazing. Intense and steamy, dark and dreamy. Narrators were perfect.

Suspenseful, great characters, great story. Imperial was a good heroin, tough and fearless while Macad was the tough hero.

Good story but incredibly short. Feels like a bit of a missed opportunity, but worth the read.

I really like the overall premise and plot but some things made it a little tough to get into.

The narrators were really great (I love Aiden Snow) but the female characters voice sounded too mature for the character.

The female main character really got in my nerves. I know that she was purposely written this way and she's not the reason I gave 4 stars, but there were a few times where I rolled my eyes and said SERIOUSLY? it's hard to imagine anyone acting the way she did when faced with that situation. I understand that it would be damn near impossible to trust someone who kidnapped you and brought you to purgatory but she made some really idiotic decisions REPEATEDLY.

The writing is poetic but WAY too descriptive. Some scenes felt like they dragged on and on. There was also a lot of repetitive inner dialogue that I found myself hitting fast forward through.

All in all, a story about a girl who finds herself at the wrong place and wrong time. She's kidnapped into Human Trafficking by a man who isn't what he appears. His hands are forced to take her but he spends almost the entire book trying to help her get free. The spicy scenes were very well written. The love story aspect of it felt a little off and rushed but I enjoyed it. Overall, a good and quick read.

I really enjoyed this story, even though it didn't have the ending that you expected. I really loved how strong Imperial was and the way everything came together. And Aiden Snow! Love everything I've heard him narrate! This was the first time I've heard Sienna Voss and I was not disappointed! She's really brought out the strength and energy of Imperial.

Aiden Snow, 'nuff said!!
