I enjoyed this story and I love the narrator. You must enjoy a history type to fully in joy this story. I have mixed feelings about the history reference.

Enjoyable

The story itself was a great pulpy romp! Short and hot, it set up series nicely, and left me awaiting the next ones in the series. The main characters were excellently characterized, especially for such a short introduction, but their physical descriptions were a bit overblown, especially for them to change so quickly. The smut was well written with enough references to the reptilian nature of the raptors to make it interesting and different, but there were no extreme kinks or appendages.

My recommendation is that people pick up the text version of this story. Having a female narrator for explicit gay sex was rather jarring, especially because her attempts at male voices were terrible. This is pulp, so overwrought is a part of the fun, but even setting aside the voices, the cadence used for dialogue was unnatural, and really distracted from the story. The audio itself was clear and crisp.
