This is the second book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet series, a Romantic Suspense. Belle, Xander and Sin's story continues where the first book left off. Belle is a wonderful character, strong, smart, and determined. Xander and Sin are enigmatic, and protective. The storyline is fast-paced, steamy, suspenseful, and captivating, filled with danger, secrets, and twists and turns. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to listening to Scandalous, the next book in the series. Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy are fantastic narrators. They did an outstanding job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

Decadent and delicious, I devoured Book 2, a great continuation of the Sinful Surrender Quartet. Gripping, intense and dramatic, you will stay on an emotional roller coaster reading this series. I enjoyed book 2 immensely, because everything isn't always black and white or right and wrong. As the plot thickens, there are more twists and storylines that keep you wondering, and the intense sexual chemistry between Sin, Belle and Alex we all want in a great romantic suspense keeps building,

Decadent, delicious

This is the first series I'm reading/listening to by Katherine Hawthorne. There were twists and turns I didn't see coming in this book with the suspense/mystery aspect. It was excellent writing! My blood was pumping and the answers couldn't be revealed fast enough!

In book one, I didn't "feel" the characters. But this book solved that issue. I'm completely invested. Elizabeth/Belle continues to look for her parent's murders while trying to figure out how to love two men. There were some really steamy MF and MFM scenes. The cliffhanger was heartbreaking. I'll be starting the next audio immediately!

Once again, all three narrators are excellent! Their voices are easy to listen to since they are so smooth. Great performances!

Belle, Xander and Sin experienced more turbulence in their relationship. She felt like she was being held prisoner though they were just doing what they thought was best. The danger came much closer, and Belle experienced true terror when faced with a different future. Once rescued, the triad lost their trust in each other, and hearts were broken. I am ready for the next one so that I can see how it will play out.

Again, Connor Crais, James Cassidy, and Lacy Laurel did a wonderful job keeping me listening and enjoying the story.

Phew, how did we survive that cliffy from Book 1? Glad I didn't have to wait even a millisecond to know what happened, I dove right into Book 2.

Our naughty trio learns so much about the past and present, learn who can't be trusted. And all while we have an amazing plot brewing, Sin and Xander still find time to devour Belle.

There's a lot of push and pull in this ménage, especially before some things come to light.

What's better than Dual POV read Audiobook? Three narrators. Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy all do an amazing job playing their respective parts.

Audio ARC provided and I decided to leave an honest review.

I enjoyed this book much more than the first. things finally started to move forward and the book took on more action than suspense which I was very much appreciated. connor crais is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators, great job all round

Tension Filled Danger and Excitingly Sensuous

The secrets and tensions and keeps deepening between Bella, Sin and Xander from the first chapter on in the 2nd book of their story. By the ending you'll be shaking with what has transpired. I know I was and now I have to go get the next book/audio book now!! lol.

A wrench from left field put everything into a tailspin. This crazy twisted sorry had me nonstop listening! That cliffhanger though. I can't wait to start the next book. Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy are all phenomenal.

The book comes with an author's note: "This book is intended for mature audiences due to explicit language and sexual content. Sensuous is a ménage romance that's all about the girl. There are NO M/M scenes."

This is the first series of Katherine's that I have read and it won't be my last. I was sucked in with the first book and can't wait to see how the series progresses. I am loving the chemistry between Belle, Xander, and Sin. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ends on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the next book Scandalous so I can get more of their story.

Lacy, Connor, and James did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MFM Ménage Romances, Erotic Romances, or Romantic Suspense.

Review:

The second book in the Surrender Quartet started slow. At some point I started thinking it should be condensed. However, when the story started getting interesting, it never stopped. The last 50% of this book is highly interesting, we start to discover what happened with Belle’s parents and it kept in the edge of the seat the entire time. Every time I thought I had things figured out, I didn’t and the ending chocked me.
Oh, and while the first book was lukewarm (regarding the hot scenes), this one was pretty hot!
One thing that bothered me: Belle’s narration. I don’t know if it’s the way she is being interpreted here, but I haven’t enjoyed her chapters as much as Sin’s and Xander’s. It may be a problem with the character, the narrator or both. That’s (and the slow beginning) is the reason this audiobook is not getting the maximum rating from me.
This book ended in a major cliffhanger and I’m tremendously curious to know what happens next.
