About this listen

An all new full cast duet narrated series in the Mate Games world from USA Today best-selling authors, Meg Anne and K. Loraine. Includes the prequel novella Promised to the Night.

Roslyn Blackthorne is dead. Technically. I faked my death to get out of a loveless marriage, but that was only half the battle. To ensure my vampire duke can never find me, I have to run far and fast enough so he can’t catch me. Because if he does, it’s over. Not just my life—for real this time—but my entire family’s.

So how does the princess of the Blackthorne vampires disappear in a world where every supernatural creature knows who she is? Summon a demon, of course. Pan agrees to keep me hidden, help me start a new life…for a cost. And it’s not my soul he’s after. Oh no, he wants my blood…and my body. But so do they. The shifter twins. The cursed hacker. And, of course, my estranged husband.

Starting over should be easy after my bargain with the demon. New name. New job. New reality in a tiny town where no one would think to search. Welcome to Aurora Springs, Alaska, a sleepy place where everyone is hiding something and nothing ever happens. At least it was…until I arrived and people started dropping like flies.

It looks like I brought my past, and a whole host of other problems, with me. But that’s not a big deal, right? It’s not the end of the world or anything.

WARNING: The Mate Games: Pestilence is a spicy why choose series that is sure to set your…heart…on fire. If you’re not a fan of grumpy dukes with a penchant for pain, purple demons with fancy body parts, nosy hackers with boundary issues, angsty wolf shifters who like to share, sword crossing, and plenty of group activities, this one’s not for you. But if it is…welcome back to The Mate Games, we’ve been waiting for you.

WOW! what a treat for my ears!

Edited review. Warning, other books aren't out yet. boo hoo. Narration was top notch! Seriously an eargasm without the solid, interesting story. So much to absorb. It's my favorite! Paranormal, fast burn, erotic and still thrilling and an ever unwinding bigger picture that satisfies the perv, book worm, and sci Fi fiend! I'm getting next book now. what a dynamic duo these authors prove to be!

LISTEN to the PREQUEL FIRST

I just started this book, but luckily, I figured out that the prequel was at the end of the book before I listen to the beginning of the book so make sure you listen to the prequel first! I’m onto listening to the actual book now

Plot Twists

This series might be even better than the War series, and that is saying something considering how amazing those books are. Once again, the cast does an amazing job at narrating these characters. And the back to back plot twists right at the end of the book leave you needing the next book immediately. I can't wait to see how the authors bring all of these enemy characters together for Rosie's sake.

Narration Gets 5 Stars- Plot Only Gets 4

This wasn't as enjoyable as The Mate Games: War. Although I LOVE the twins and Asher, I find Gavin and Pan unhinged. I hate that she's with them.

I ALMOST returned it…but happy I didn’t

I won’t lie, I was apprehensive at first. I absolutely loved The Mate Games: War so I instantly wanted to proceed with this one but, again, was apprehensive with the male on male intimacy (just not my scene…or so I thought). Once I got into this book I LOVED it! And the characters…HILARIOUS! The perfect amount of spice and hilarity! The only thing I would change is there is too many sausages at the party, I love the twin energy but a demon, a husband AND a sexy hacker…I little to much I think.

My new favourite Demon, Pan: Mon Petite Monstre!

What a ride! Such a deliciously delectable dalliance in debauchery with my new favourite Demon...Pan: Mon petite monstre!
Pestilence has never felt so good.
Keep those water bottles filled and fans and air conditioners set to high! You’re in for one hell of a hot n spicy thrill in what is shaping up to be another marvellous Why Choose? hit series by the writing dream team of Meg Anne and K Loraine.

If you thought the Mate Games War was outta this world: then prepare thyself: Pestilence is not just hot n spicy, it's tasty n saucy, and I'm living for this!

This is Roslyn Blackthorne’s spicy, heart racing, pulse pounding story and features:

💜 Sassy Virgin Vampire Hybrid Heroine
💜 Grumpy Vampire Duke
💜 Purple Demon with fancy body parts
💜 Nosy hacker with boundary issues,
💜 Angsty wolf shifters who like to share,
💜 Sword crossing,
💜 Plenty of group activities,

Rosie faked her death to get out of her marriage with Gavin, and to make sure he doesn’t find her, she summons a demon and Pan grants her wish, but as is always the case with Demon deals: there is a catch, and unlike other Demons, Pan is not after Rosie’s soul, he wants to posses her body and her blood! Fair trade right? 😉Rosie then decides to make a new life for herself in a small town in the Alaskan’ wilderness where she finds her hunky hacker and the sexy shifter twins and that’s when the fun begins and the heat soars!

Again we have a #MasterCast performing in Duet, starring:
The delicious Stella Hunter as Roslyn or Rosie, who is a Vampire Hybrid, with Stella’s hot AF British accent – my girl crush keeps growing and I’m living for it!

John Hartley as the jilted ‘Dom’ to Rosie’s ‘Sub’ husband Gavin – so growly with his seductive British accent. I'm totally loving #AlphaJohn!

Teddy Hamilton is Asher the Human hacker who Rosie enlists to help with her fake identity after faking her death and leaving Gavin!

JF Harding and Joseph Morgan are the cheeky and sexy AF, golden retriever wolf-shifter twins: Bennet & Remington Mercer, who love to share. Now I’m a Vampire Witch hybrid and wolves are not my thing usually, but holy hot puppies Batman, just like in The OG Mates Games, JF Harding has me falling for a wolf, and “sweet baby girl” can we take a moment for Jacob Morgan…Ummm his sexy Southern twang gets me every dang time! I adore him and his performance in this book, was a standout!

Finally, my favourite: James Joseph as Pan the devilishly desirable demon who loves to break into French and I’m so here for it – JJ’s French accent is seductive AF not to mention his fancy tail, I mean: trust JJ to make this Vampire Witch hybrid, fall for a Demon: and he is perfect in his portrayal of the possessive and domineering Pan.

This All-Star cast of fabulous voice actors were outstanding, not only in their performance of their main roles, but they were exceptional as the entourage of interesting side characters that you can’t help but fall for and want to get to know – did I mention we have a trio of Gargoyles, and they are not just any old Tom, Dick and Harry😉 we have some amazing British accent work by John and JJ: Cockney, Scouse and Scottish – just brilliant!!

Overall, I absolutely devoured this audiobook!
Meg Anne and K. Loraine nailed this once again, and I cannot wait for Claimed by Shifters next! All the stars every time!

5 Stars! I need more!!!

I didn't think K. Loraine & Meg Anne could top the original Mate Games series, but even part way in I quickly found out that yes, yes they could. Add in a stellar cast & I'm done for.
In addition to being full of flirty, fun, humorous conversations & situations, this book is so hot it will set your underwear on fire! I loved every single minute of this book and cannot wait for more! Really fantastic writing that pulls you in to the story immediately. It's impossible to not fall in love with all of them, even Pan. The twins are my faves, but I loved every character.
What can I say about these narrators? Each one of them took to their roles like they were made for them. John Hartley and his growly Duke of Tears, Gavin. Stella Hunter's perfect as Rosie/Nadia because she's so damn good at showing Rosie's innocence in her voice but then stronger as she blossoms with each connection Rosie makes with the guys. Teddy Hamilton is always perfect as the sweet and grumbly Asher. James Joseph as the VERY NAUGHTY demon, Pan. Oh my goodness.
JF Harding and Jacob Morgan were cast as the perfect twins. So very different and they had a great relationship. They had me in tears during one of the scenes with Remi and Ben.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!

Holy forking shirtballs…yes I went there. 🤣 This book had me cracking up from the beginning to the point where I was actually snort laughing at parts throughout. That is when I wasn’t either swooning over some of the guys or fanning myself to try to cool off, because daaaaaaaaamn is this book spicy!

I’ve been intrigued with Gavin since the prequel novella so I was very invested in knowing what his reaction was going to be when he found out that Rosie wasn’t actually dead. Pan is…interesting, yeah we’ll go with interesting, (especially with that little info bomb dropped at the end of the book). Asher seems like he just needs someone to give him a big hug, and I want to be that person. Remi is like this adorable little puppy that wants all of the attention, you know, if that puppy also happens to be an absolutely shameless flirt. And finally we have my dear sweet Ben. I want to wrap that grumpy cinnamon roll up in a blanket and snuggle the day away with him. I love that Rosie is starting to find herself so that she figure out what she really wants.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. Also, if you like audiobooks, then that is definitely the way to consume this book. And consume is exactly what I did with this book. I just loved it so much and I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

*Also, make sure to check the trigger warnings!

All narroator readers did enemizing job. I enjoyed this book the only thing I didn't care for is that I get. She was trapped being a Royal princess and she didn't know what she wanted or liked. so she goes out makes ugh choose . she found her more irritating because after a 4 or 5 men she, Still hadn't decided what she wanted. I did know where the book was going.
the book on EVERY chapter has sex or some1 is horny. it is a cliffhanger I will not get the next. I just want know Where are? What is the main character train to do I get? She's trying. 2? Save her family but.
How she's doing about it is overall and I'm just not seeing where authors going.
if I did get it would so b the narrator AMAZING 👏
