This is book 3 of the series . It’s as heart gripping as the other 2 in the series . Lauren Landish is very talented story teller . She knows how to make you want see the sweet story with a heart gripping love story, thrown in with some panty wetting scenes.
This story is about Norma Jean and Zachs story . You meet Norma in book 1 and 2 . She’s Liam’s little sister but also a nerd . She has goals in her life . She wants to be a journalist and the best . And to top it off she’s a virgin.
She’s assigned to help out with school projects. If she doesn’t and Zach fells the grade he’s in trouble.
Zach is a football star. He’s relying on football and the school is relying on him . If he fails the class he’s out of the team .
Things get hot and heavy between Norma and Zach . It gets real steamy and you need to grab it and see if the virgin looses her virgin status . It’s great that other characters show up from the other stories to tie them into this story

Tor Thom and Melissa were and are great together. They make you think your right in the story beside them and you see scenes like they are life . The voices are smooth , sexy , clear and strong .

Silk & Shadows was a super funny & sexy story. Norma is going to college to become a journalist. Zack is a star player for the football team who ends up needing a tutor. Norma becomes that tutor but under the disguise of his girlfriend. Zack is totally not Norma's type. He is very cocky & full of himself but why does Norma's body start to feeling things she doesn't want it to towards Zack. Norma wants to find a good guy not someone like Zack. Zack is used to having all the girls throw themselves at him so when Norma doesn't, the chase is on. This book was so good! Very funny & sexy at the same time. Tor Thom & Melissa Moran fit the characters well. Great narration!

These two characters seem unlikely to become a couple but I guess that is where the phrase opposites attract comes from. I loved her sass and his cockiness together and the sex was hot. The narration was great.

The story was unique and original. Lauren Landish writes amazing, sarcastic leading ladies that I am always able to relate to. I enjoyed every minute of this audio and cannot wait to go back and listen to the other books in this series!

I loved this hot jock and tutor/fake relationship story. It was a fun and quick listen and Ms Landish made falling for Zach easy. He’s sexy, smart, and a total sweetheart. Norma is was a great sassy female lead and the banter between she and Zach was just perfect! Lauren Landish is quickly becoming a go to author for me with her amazing stories full or heat and heart. She keeps the angst to a minimum giving the story just enough to add an element of drama, but still keeping it feeling real and relatable. Add to that her heroines that have sass and vulnerability in just the right measure and heroes that are completely drool and swoon worthy, and you have yourself a one-click author!

Narrators Melissa Moran and Tor Thom continue to narrate this series and thank goodness! I love their pairing and performances in series so much. Melissa Moran perfectly captures Norma’s vulnerability and sassiness. Tor Thom was just perfect at the hot jock: confident, strong, sexy, but still gentle and sweet. Totally credit worthy!

I have enjoyed every book in this series. They are all stand alone with a common theme: virgins. Silk and Shadows continues the series with a jock and a nerd. A very unlikely couple that are forced to work together. Norma is someone I could easily get along with. She is strong and sassy and a fun character to follow. Zach is a typical jock that just want to take the easy way out. He is a character that take time to grow on you. The banter between Zach and Norma is so much fun and entertaining. I loved the interaction between these two. The sparring of wits and the battle for self control makes their relationship real. The taboo places to have rendezvous, kept me on edge for fear they may be caught!

Melissa Moran and Tor Thom narrated this story. Ms Moran narrated Norma as imagined her, book smart but naive in romance. Ms Moran brought out the strong, independent woman, Norma is and was able to soften her as Norma fell for Zach. Mr Thom's deep baritone voice fit the image of Zach I imagined as I listened to the story. Mr. Thom brought out the arrogant jock that Zach was perfectly. Melissa Moran and Tor Thom adds to the story and are a perfect narrating team to enhance the experience.

I listen to lot of books and love to read as well. Lauren Landish is a must read for me and this one is well worth the listen. The story is great and the narrators did s great job with the characters! If you haven’t listened, you need to!!!

Lauren Landish always gives me what I need! This is the perfect listen. Not to angsty, has a strong female character and just the right amount of steam! Zach is a star football player in need of some help with his GPA. When Norma is asked to help tutor him, and be his pretend girlfriend for appearances, she does so, hesitantly. But who knew this man was not just a dumb jock looking for his next conquest! Norma was happy to find a man who is quick on his feet as well as his banter. A man who can challenge her is just what she wanted. Could he be the one? Landish creates her characters with that sense of realism that we can all relate to. Being similar to Norma, I could feel all of her insecurity, and grow with her as their relationship went on. Zach is wonderfully attentive, considerate and smart, much like the athletes I know are, but get the stereotyped persona attached to him. He proves to be worthy! And Jake...what a character!(That is all I will say about him!) This is a fun, easy story that made me smile, feel good and fall for the hero.

The narration team of Melissa Moran and Tor Thom continue to blaze through this series! I love the combination of their voices. Moran is perfect for Norma Jean. She adds spunk to her insecurity, and with her narration, you can feel the change in Norma as the year goes on. Thom brings out all the shine in Zach. As the star athlete, the confidence exudes out of him with Tor's performance, but you can hear the softness and love in his voice too. It's a great story!

Norma and Zach have me tied up in knots as they go for the Goal. The very last thing Norma wants to be doing is tutoring a self entitled jock that feels like the world is his oyster cause God blessed him with some skill on the gridiron. She has other things on her plate like her own studies, her journalist dreams, and the hopes of finally finding a guy that can handle her larger than life personality. Nevertheless not only does she have help him with his homework she also has play the role of his girlfriend so no one is the wiser to his need for a little academic aid. Zach isn’t stupid by any means, he just isn’t digging this class and it shows apparently in his work. Now Coach is riding him to get himself a tutor and bring up his grade so he doesn’t let the team down. There is something about the bratty fiery Norma that sets him a flame and he is intrigued as he has never been before. She is unique in every way and he is determined to bottle some of the fire for himself. Between tutoring and teasing they fall headlong, but will they be able to get their TD-HEA!

Narration- Melissa and Tor once again do a sensational job. Can you say hot hot hot? They were absolutely electric with this series.
