About this listen

I'm not a good man, and I've never pretended to be. I don't believe in goodness or God or any happy ending that isn't paid for in advance.

What do I believe in? Money. Sex. Macallan 18.

They have words for men like me - playboy. Womanizer. Skirt chaser. My brother used to be a priest, and he only has one word for me: sinner.

Perfection

Sierra Simone is a GODDESS! This book was powerful, heartbreaking,, funny, sensual, beautiful, and of course, unbelievably sexy. Jacob Morgan is always amazing, and brought this book to life like only he can. I need more Morae Brehon-- she was perfect. This book is a must listen!!

The best

How I even begin to review a book so smart, emotional, intense and yet so incredibly filthy?

Sean Bell’s inner dialogue takes you on a journey through his mind that compels you to rethink your own takes on religion and faith. The topics that are presented and laid out are so intriguing and keeps your mind and your heart working and involved in a way that makes this book impossible to turn off.

But it would be impossible not to mention the incredibly dirty mind that Sierra Simone has. The chemistry between Sean and Zenny was so palpable that you can feel the tension. You can feel the build. This series toys with sin and I don’t know if it’s the authors words or the underlying wrongness, but the dirty, dirty scenes were overwhelming and so body melting that not even a/c can cool the desire during this listen.

The intense love I have for this book is SO DUCKING HARD. LIKE A ROCK HARD. THE LOVE IS HARD PEOPLE. I want to throw my phone against a wall and I want to cradle it against my chest. The feelings are so intense. I can’t take it.

Jacob Morgan is beyond the perfect narrator. He takes over Sean Bell and becomes him, his inflections and tone makes the character come to life. Not to mention his ability to talk dirty so easily. Although Morae Brehon was not in the book so much, her small attributes were perfect.

A Sinner He Is!

Sean Bell is a proclaimed sinner who loves sex and his money. Sean stepped away from the Catholic church at a young age after a tragic event, but after reconnecting with his best friends litte sister Zenny he not only learns what love is but that it's ok to ask God for things and to pray again. I love that Sean and Zinny were able to work through their differences when it came to church/religion and find their happy ending!

Okay, now I want Aden's story!

I almost didn't listen to this one because I was so disinterested after the first book, but this story was way, way better than the first story in the series. It wrapped up a lot of things I wondered about the first book, but with a much, much better main character with a more interesting look into his backstory. His conflict was so developed, so I really appreciate that.

I didn't listen to the second book, so I don't know how Zini's (sp) family (if at all) was introduced into the book's world. This book did as much as it could in that introduction, but it felt as if there were more there to explore.

The major plot reveals were kinda obvious to me, especially about Zini being a nun, but I bet myself $5 the moment Aden was introduced when he was at his brother's home in the fridge and I was all, 'Please let that happen'. And it did, so I was happy. Aden's story would make this series progressively better, which is rare, and I'm ALL for that.

I'm not religious myself, but I love stories where characters have doubt in faith. I feel faith is one of the oldest testaments of a person's ability to person, so seeing the two main characters go through that was really interesting.

It was nice to see a story about an interracial couple where that wasn't the focus/kink of the story. I also give props to the couple of situations the story addresses in the character's differences. Again. Need Aden's story.

I'm not one personally to vibe on the older experienced man v the virginal young woman trope, though she is learned and 'older than her age' blah blah, but I get that that's a genera, so okay. It was handled as best it could in this story, its just not my jam. Also some of the internal monologuing was a bit over the top.

My biggest pet peeve was their first night together. It was SOOOO long, like over an hour of the book, and multiple chapters and the reader already knew it was all only going to go so far. All that needed to be cut down by a good 50%

I want to know what the deal is with these two families. I want to know their conflict and Aden is the only brother left so I'm hoping he gets his own story. If so this would be the only series I've read where the stories would get progressively better as they go on.

The narration of course was great. Both narrators were spot on.

Okay, I am so here for Aden's story, so yeah.

Just Perfect!!

I had imagined for Sean to sound super macho and sexy, and than Jacob Morgan comes in my ears and that is just perfect. And to top it off with Morae Brehon was amazing. I absolutely loved it.

Sinner, oh how I love this sin!

I read this enthralling story about a year ago. Sean and Zenny's story had me at page one. I was simply amaze. Ms. Sierra Simone created such an entertaining, compelling, enthralling story. Now, to be able to hear the voices of Sean and Zenny was a milestone pleasure. Mr. Jacob Morgan's voice was sexy as all get out, just the way Sean should sound. Ms. Morea Brehon's sweet voice as the young Zenny was true to her character. And a sinner falling in love with a nun to be was so creative. I highly recommend this audible story. You will feel it right down into your soul. ENJOY!

Holy Smokes!

Oh I loved everything about this from start to finish! Jacob Morgan--I just have no words for how incredible he narrated this story. His brought such raw emotion, passion, and depth to the characters...I was sucked in from the beginning and never wanted it to end.
This book was smoking hot! Words just do not do justice to the fire that was this book. And listening to Jacob narrate the numerous scorching scenes, it was blush inducing in the best way. This book was also extremely touching, thought provoking and emotional. I cried at one point. I went through the gambit of emotions, and once again such credit to Jacob Morgan for bringing the authors incredible story to life here to just make me feel so much.
I loved the story of Sean and Xenobia. I loved how they first came together, I loved their journey together, and I loved their HEA.

So unbelievably obsessed!

This book surpassed the first book, BY FAR. I enjoyed Priest, but this??? I cannot get enough of this story. I laughed, I cried, I went thru so many emotions. The narration was so on point, he really brought Sean and Zenny to life, and the spicy scenes were 10/10!
