About this listen

For psychologist Leo Meyer, peace and comfort come through strict discipline and order. It’s one of the reasons he was chosen by Julian Lodge to be the Dom in residence at his club. His time there has been a near-perfect existence filled with a daily routine free from the chaos of emotional attachment. With the exception of his brief relationship with Shelley McNamara, that is. She may have been the only woman he ever truly loved, but he was confident he had put her out of his mind until she walked into his club on the arm of another man.

Shelley McNamara is tired of waiting for her new life to begin. After finally finding freedom from an abusive marriage, she is eager to discover who she really is. After her encounter with Leo Meyer, she knows that the first thing she wants to explore is the lifestyle he exposed her to during their brief time together. She’s been promised her new Dom will be an excellent fit, but she can’t imagine anyone could fill the hole left by Leo. Until she sees Master Wolf.

After a devastating injury forced his retirement from the Navy SEALs, Wolf has been restless and lost. Hoping to reconnect with his estranged family in Dallas, Wolf accepted a new job working for Julian Lodge. His first assignment is training a beautiful woman named Shelley. Her fiery nature unlocks feelings he didn’t know he was capable of after a life spent in combat. The closer they become, the more certain he is that she is his ideal mate. The only catch is that her relationship with Leo may not be as resolved as they both believed.

Just when Shelley believes the looming shadow of her deceased husband has finally cleared away, a dangerous killer arrives at her door seeking retribution. Leo and Wolf will have to put their grievances aside, leverage all their training, and work together to keep her safe and claim her heart.

Awesome Narration. Great story!

Leo, Wolf, and Shelley really needed to get out of their own way. They each had preconceived notions about what the other person in their potential manage was thinking.

The really interesting thing was that they each were struggling with some level of lack of self esteem, or blaming themselves for something out of their control.

I also enjoy the camaraderie of the Doms and subs in both "The Club" and "Sanctum". I was glad to see Leo and Wolf work out their issues.

This book was full of humor, romance, heat, love, support, and loyalty. I enjoyed the book so much, it even tempered my irritation with Shelley thinking she could solve things on her own. Forget about the fact that she had a host of SEAL'S, Special Forces people, tech guru's, wealthy businessmen, etc. to turn to for help.

I listened to the audiobook. I love Ryan West's narration. I never have a problem determining which character is speaking.

A great addition to the Texas Sirens series. And to think I was a bit concerned when Wolf and Logan left Bliss. I would give this 4.5 stars, only because the book can get a tad wordy and drag on for a bit.

Texas Sirens Book Six

Texas Sirens Book Six.

Leo Meyer is sure he's being tested when the woman he loves, Shelley McNamara, is brought to The Club and his brother, Wolf Meyer, is tasked with her training. Shelley denied Leo once, and he cannot forget that. However, with Wolf and Julian working together, Leo knows something is up. When Shelley's laptop is stolen and a former team member shows up with her, Wolf decides that Leo's time for staying away from Shelley is up. He works Leo into the relationship and makes sure there is no way out.

If you've been waiting for Leo to find his HEA, this is the book for you!

Wolf, Leo And Shelley's Story

This is an awesome story of how these 3 delightful characters come together, overcome drama and multiple murder attempts to find their happily ever after. It ends with their decision to get married in Bliss... where many loving family members can celebrate with them. Julian Lodge is paying for their wedding. The Narration by CJ Bloom and Ryan West is absolutely the best. And of course our dear author remains a GODDESS in the writing world. THANKK YOU Lexie/Sophie

Each story is better than the last…

My motto in life is “everyone needs therapy”….Leo is no different. Who would have thought that the resident DOM and therapist to all would have issues himself. When he is confronted by the return of his brother and woman who he’s been pinning for for 15 months, along with a threat to himself and those he loves, Leo has to decide if his own past is intruding on his ability to find his own HEA.

I can’t pick a favorite story, but this one is up there. Wolf is the loveable Dom..tough and demanding, but playful and indulgent. He’s trying to reinvent himself now that his military career is over. He’s already reconnected with his mom. Now it’s time to reconnect with his brother. When he meets Shelly and finds that she and his brother have history, he sees the perfect way for them all to be together,

Shelly is finally ready to move on from her awful and abusive husband, but his misdeeds still haunt her. Now that she’s ready to reconnect with Leo, he isn’t interested. Now she finds herself attracted to Wolf, but still wanting Leo, when she has a chance at both, she’s taking it. If only she can stay out of trouble…and alive.

Great story..I swear Shelly as a sub was freaking funny. I won’t ever think of ginger the same again. The only who really stole the show in this book is Kitten. She is so freaking funny, but you know that there is an awful story in her past. I can’t wait to get to that book. The story is filled with longing, past regrets, old wounds, and more meddling by our favorite Club owner, Julian Lodge.

Good

This was book 6 in the "Texas Sirens" series. Shelley McNamara is tired of waiting for her new life to begin. Shelley has been an abusive marriage and watching her husband die right in front of her goes to Dallas to learn about D/s relationships and to be trained as a sub. Leo Meyer is still nursing a broken heart after a year he has closed himself off to his friends when he finds out that Julian has found a Dom to train Julian he is upset and when he finds out who he choose he is really upset. Wolf Meyer has nothing to loose by moving to Dallas and working for Julian the ranch that he was working on in Bliss was bought by Trev McNamara. When he meets Shelley in person he falls head over hills for her he and Shelley have been talking by phone and email for over a month when he finds out that she is the same woman that broke his brothers heart he begins to think that maybe they can share her. When her laptop is stolen on the train she meets a man who turns out to be the same man Steve who served in the Seals with Leo and who knew Wolf turns out Shelley has something that Steve wants and the Senator that he works for. This was a good read each one of the character's has been hurt in the past Leo who grew up fast and had to take care of his brother and Shelley by the man she married. Wolf who was hurt while serving his country all he wanted to do was to go back in but due to his injuries. Shelley had her reasons for turning Leo down but when she told him that Bryce blackmailed her into marrying him I wanted to kill him. In this book we learned more about the twin Ben and Chase Dawson Ben served with Leo and they both were seeing the same woman who was killed. When someone tries to kill Shelley they will stop at nothing to keep her safe. Shelley is a brat she doesn't listen she tries to run twice trying to save the brothers. This was a really good read this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading about the twins and Kitten and the kind of master she will have.

Leo's HEA... finally!

We have all been waiting for Leo to find his HEA... will he get the women he's loved for a long time? But they can't be together... the past gets in the way.

This is book is quite entertaining but is predictable. If you're looking for the book about Leo, then this is for you.
