About this listen

The Day to Remember is the second book in the two-book series, Emma's Story.

What happens when the dream is over and reality sets in?

When Emma Anderson meets and falls in love with the man from her dreams - the deep-dimpled and incredibly gorgeous Brandon Fisher - she wasn't expecting her heart to be broken by him and his complicated life. But despite Brandon's baggage, the inextricable pull Emma and Brandon feel for each other seems strong enough to keep them together.

Just when Emma thinks she can have a happily-ever-after with Brandon, a dark secret from her past threatens Emma's chances at true happiness with Brandon - a secret so dark and hidden that even her best friends don't know about it.

Will Emma and Brandon's love be strong enough to withstand the external factors that seem to pull them apart? Or will Emma's dream man be nothing but just that - a dream?

Recommended for 17+ due to mature language and adult situations.

A True Love Story

Would you listen to The Day to Remember again? Why?

I loved this series! I like the fact that I can listen to this without straining my eyes because when I start reading a book , I read until I am done!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Day to Remember?

The scene where Brandon asks to use the bathroom and was there forever and the assumption Emma had.. classic!

What does Lynn Barrington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can use my imagination while listening to the story!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I would not change the title.. it perfectly reflects the story!

OHH THE DRAMA!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Day to Remember to be better than the print version?

YES! I feel the the narrator did an awesome job of bringing life to Emma and Brandons character which sometimes is hard to do for a male character with a female narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Emma she had real emotions and reactions to situations they were not over dramatic or to forgiving making her a weak lead she was real.

Which scene was your favorite?

The two chapters where Emma and Brandon found out the "truth" at the same time I don't wanna give it away!!! AND seeing Damien again!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes when Brandon and Emma bummed into each while shopping you could just tell how miserable they were it was so sad!

Any additional comments?

Jessica Wood did an amazing job with this book really unbelievable!! I can't wait for her next books and audiobooks!! don't miss these books read them asap!!

Love it!

A Day To Remember was wonderful to listen to and it was just as excellent as the first book A Night To Forget. I love the story, it's relaxing to be able to close my eyes and listen to the book without having to put the book down when I have tears in my eyes when trying to read. I fell in love with the characters as it made me become really involved and emotionally connected. I love Jessica Wood books and can't wait to read more of her books and audiobooks. Jessica Wood is fabulous and did an amazing job with this series.

Wondeful ending!!!!!

I just absolutely LOVED the ending to Emma and Brandon's story! it was a beautiful ending. I've actually read the book but reading gave no justice to the way to narrator flows through the story.
Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. In the first book Emma and Brandon had to overcome the obstacles of whether they should be together or not because of work. But book 2 is about the challenges their love has to overcome when Emma is hit with Brandon's jealous ex girlfriend. Beautiful story!

I loved this book!!

This was even better than book 1, A Night to Forget! I didn't want to stop listening to either book. There was so much love and emotion that I found myself smiling and crying right along with them. Emma and Brandon have a love story that every girl wishes for.

AMAZING!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Day to Remember to be better than the print version?

To some point yes because it gives a different feel when someone else is reading it. But then there is the way were you can read it yourself and it's different. So either way for me is amazing. I like both.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Day to Remember?

When Brandon was trying to get emma to realize that he loves her and after emma telling him about what happen to her mom. To me that's passion. He wants her to know that whatever it is that he loves her.

Which character – as performed by Lynn Barrington – was your favorite?

Brandon was my favorite because it just seemed like he was sincere.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The title of the book because that title gives you everything.

Any additional comments?

Jessica Wood did an amazing job writin this book and cannot wait to get more audio books. Lynn Barrington did an amazing job telling the story.

Book 2 Rocks

Where does The Day to Remember rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Book 2 is as good if not better than Book 1. But you have to read 1 first. I love how this book gives you more history of Brandon and Emma.

What did you like best about this story?

In this book you learn more about Brandon's past and though he is so in live with Emma he doesn't always make great choices when it comes to honesty. Though his heart is in the right place he really has to step it up to win her back. You need to read this and find out just how romantic Brandon can be and you end up falling in love with him all over again

What about Lynn Barrington’s performance did you like?

Lynn as usual is great. Voice changes are made smoothly so you don't feel like its choppy

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Second Chances

Any additional comments?

Jessica is fabulous and her story line is real and embraceable. You need to pick up all her books you'll love them and the characters
