Loved this story! You begin to get a sense of what is different fairly early, but the story is so compelling, you can't put it down. This is a haunting love story told very well.

The story is filled with stereotypical romance tropes. I’ve read a bunch of her books. I enjoy her work, she tends to bring a new take on a tired genre, but I would skip this one.

I don't think there's a book that Tiffany writes that I don't love. She manages to surprise me all the time.. When I less expect it.. BOOM! I end up with a book hangover..

I was totally captivated by this book! The characters were charming and delightful. It was mysterious in a fun way. As the book goes on, the mysteries keep unfolding until the end.. and the pieces fall together into a bitter sweet conclusion I didn’t expect!

I like romance novels, but I like the people falling in love too. Otherwise it's just reading about people having sex. The foreshadowing was insane which is why I figured out the ending right away.
Some of the lines (I wish I had written them down but I'm not going to listen to it again 😂😂) were just painful.

I absolutely loved how the author shaped this beautiful story. It will completely sweep you away because the romance is highlighted with the mystery and intrigue of learning about the lady in white, the peculiar scent of smoke. Gwen’s choice at the end was the perfect way to end it. You’re rooting for her and Edwin to have a happy ending. This is a must read.
