About this listen

Tesla Martin is drifting pleasantly through life, slinging lattes at Morningstar Mocha, enjoying the ebb and flow of caffeine-starved customers, devoted to her cadre of regulars. But none of the bottomless-cup crowd compares with Meredith, a charismatic force of nature who can coax intimate tales from even the shyest of Morningstar’s clientele.

Caught in Meredith’s sensual, irresistible orbit, inexpressibly flattered by the siren’s attention, Tesla shares long-buried chapters of her life, holding nothing back. Nothing Meredith proposes seems impossible - not even Tesla sleeping with Meredith’s husband, Charlie, while she looks on. After all, it’s all in fun, isn’t it?

In a heartbeat, vulnerable Tesla is swept into a spectacular love triangle. Together, gentle, grounded Charlie and sparkling, maddening Meredith are everything Tesla has ever needed, wanted or dreamed of, even if no one else on earth understands. They’re three against the world.

But soon one of the vertices begins pulling away until only two points remain - and the space between them gapes with confusion, with grief and with possibility.

Go Megan!!

MG hardly ever disappoints and here is no exception. I love the way she turns dysfunctional into functional. If you have never read her books you must give them a try.
narrater is also very good!!

I like. I like.

Would you listen to The Space Between Us again? Why?

Yes. The narrator was good, the story was good, and the sex scenes weren't too exaggerated.

What did you like best about this story?

Meredith's character was really good.

Have you listened to any of Alexandra Wilde’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither but I felt bad at the end, but not enough to cry.

Any additional comments?

The story was very close to the other Sylvia Day book where the husband invites his childhood friend into the marriage. Very close.

X-Rated?

I frequently thought about not finishing this book. It actually was a great story in regards to the complexity of intimate relationships. Perhaps because of the nature of the characters, the explicit sexual scenes were appropriate but they were not my "cup of tea". I definitely believe that the X-Rated nature of the book should have been included in the summary. It would be offensive to some and I would hate to have given this book as a gift based on the summary without reading it first.

Another good one from Megan Hart

I liked Tesla and her crazy life. It's so neat how Hart allows us to visit characters from other stories. This time we get to see Johnny D and Sadie & Joe. It makes me want to go back and reread their stories. The narrator is very good in this one, even in the sexy parts. Enjoy!

Classic Megan Hart

What made the experience of listening to The Space Between Us the most enjoyable?

The story line captured you from the first words you hear until the last.

What did you like best about this story?

The pace of the story was excellent with just enough of the main character back ground to under stand why she wants the things she wants.

What does Alexandra Wilde bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved the voice of the narrator.I felt more connected to the characters through her voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The second to last chapter when the main character chooses her self over begging for what she really wants.

Any additional comments?

This was one of the best books I've listen to in a long time. It is one of the reason Megan Hart is one of my favorite authors. Her books are always written in a way to make you really think how you would react if you ever found your self in the situations her characters find themselves in.

Really liked this, however I skipped the prologe..

What did you love best about The Space Between Us?

...because it felt like it was giving the story away. After listening to the book, I'm glad I did skip it because I'd have listened differently (like seeing a movie before reading the book).

It was a great Megan Hart story...characters had depth and feeling along with great sex descriptions. (Graphic-not for your 'everyday' romance reader).

What did you like best about this story?

Cannot give a best without giving anything away so I'll go with the opposite-I did not like how Tesla was treated yet she put herself in the positions (figuratively).

What about Alexandra Wilde’s performance did you like?

Great job-each character had their own voice, including the children which can be hard to do.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I almost did...just stopped for a few hours of sleep! The closer to the end the more suspenseful and interesting it got!

Any additional comments?

Graphic portrayal of M/F sex as well as F/F (not a fan) and menage tois F/F/M.

Another Great One by Megan Hart

I love this author! I only discovered her about two months ago and this was my 7th book that I have listened to by her...she has great character development and new and different story lines in each book that unfolds beautiful love stories. I also love how her characters from each book show up again in the other books...all of her stories take place in PA and main characters from other books pop up as side characters in future books. For instance, in this one Johhny D. shows up from Collide and Sadie and Joe show up from Broken. It just seems to weave a storyline through all of the books.

I love Tesla in this book - very sure of herself...I also love Charlie. Very romantic, sexy and honest. And...another great narrator for Megan Hart - wonderful voices.

I recommend this book. Another review said this was a very similar storyline to Tempted...aside from there being 3 people involved in the love story...I don't think anything else was similar...so don't let that deter you from reading it.
