About this listen

"Camilla"

I longed to believe my bond with Ellis was impenetrable, but, in reality, I held secrets that could blow open the tightly woven seam of our newfound relationship. Would he understand how we were both victims in his brother's betrayal, or would he take his anger out on the one person still alive - me. Could the words my sister spoke about Liam's father be true? If so, how would Ellis and I recover from what was lost?

Christopher's jealousy was intensifying as a future with me became even less attainable. No, I belonged to one man only, and I was going to prove to Ellis that we could overcome the past and share an amazing future. I had two important roles in life: being a mother and a submissive, and I would fight to keep them both.

"Sasha"

Once I left rehab, the thought of living alone during my recovery scared me, but being told I had to move in with Ellis's attractive cousin instead of going back to my apartment was terrifying. My sister, Camilla, ran a tight ship, but she wasn't nearly as intimidating as Greyson and the terms he laid out for me.

The reality that I was borrowing space amongst his superior existence didn't need to be spoken. For that reason, I was blindsided when his gaze began to undress me and his touch became more than a brush of the shoulder. Greyson Burke saw something in me I was struggling to see in myself, and that meant he held the power...it also meant I had to run.

Very Good!

This second book in the duet was quite a bit better than the first. I would actually give it four and a half stars! A great little story and, while the (boring) graphic sex scenes were still more plentiful than I would have liked, the well written story behind it made it worth the time spent listening. Also, the adorable little boy in the first book, Liam, returns, becoming more and more adorable as the book progresses. I really enjoyed that little character, so well performed by the female narrator.

Regarding the narration, the female narrator excels over the male who was okay but nothing special, aside from his very deep voice which worked well for the portrayal of Ellis, the main male character.

Overall, I would say this is a well written and absorbing audiobook worth the listening time. Again, there are a lot of graphic sex scenes which a lot of people like, I know but, if you are like me and find them to be just boring, there is enough going for this book to still make it a worthwhile listen.

Satisfying Listen

Book 1 ended on a scintillating Cliffhanger, I had to get Book 2 which did not disappoint. Now that the book is done, I'd have wanted a stand alone book for Grayson.

All in all it was a satisfying listen.

magnificent

Listened to volumes one and two and I loved it. I felt Grayson had to grow a pair allot sooner but nonetheless he did at the end. Great story.

Listenened straight through

After the cliffhanger on book 1... I went right into part 2 and listened to the entire story straight! What an emotional whirlwind!

terms 2

I thought part 1 was good... this? Even better. Following the development of the situation Camilla finds herself in, her finding out that Ellis is not who his brother portrayed him to be, she struggles with her guilt. Things come to light on both sides and I almost lost hope that they will have a HEA, there were too many things working against it, but... Ms. Rowe didn't disappoint. Mixing mystery, suspense, some really hawt scenes, some fun ones too, made this a very enjoyable story. We even get to see her troublemaker sister (who as I find out why she was the way she was, broke my heart) and his cousin get theirs. A very satisfying ending for sure.
Again Ms. Wilder and Mr. Kafer made the story come alive. Her warm voice and his yummy alpha voice is a combo I could listen to for hours.. and I did :D

I love this part 2 so much!

The story continues! Wow! I love this book so much! This is about the trusting in love, the love between two sisters and with a lot of twists and turns. The narration is also great. You have to listen to the book 1 before this one. I'm looking forward to read more books from this author. I received this audiobook as a Giveaway and this is my honest review.
