I didn't like the voice of George in the first book, even though I understood the need to make it sound alien. I did appreciate how effective that was, but it was still...grating. However, only a few weeks passed before I was drawn to the second book in this series and then the third. As I continued to listen the similar yet distinct alien voices became less grating and more familiar.

As for the stories, they were great! I've listened to other books by this author and with this last one in particular was concerned it might just be the alien version of another series, but it wasn't, though there were similarities. It was a light, fun listen. Light BDSM elements like most Daddy/boy stories, mixed with the added element of another person who has switch tendencies. The switch in this story has a fascinating back story that really added to the story.

One thing I appreciated with the whole series was how our understanding of the aliens increased as both a species, but also in what each of the alien main characters got out of the "domination based relationship" since it wasn't sexual release.
