Seems misogynistic or patriarchal
Reviewed: 03-26-25
There's some nonsense in here. The MC starts off as a badass pretty much right away which can be boring. There also seems to be a patriarchal/misogynistic pattern. I get it's a fantasy story with harem relationships but there is an over the top "the duty of the wife is to please her man" thing going on that is uncomfortable

Story
F-Rank foot soldier Riven Wrangleman found people stuck in pods. And now, those people are dangling above his head. A mouse woman, a bat woman, and three anthropomorphic camel people, these five Demons bring with them incredible new glimpses into the state of the world for those lost on the island, namely Riven, Lucerein, and Enkriah. The new information is all well and good, but it doesn't change Riven's goals. He's still being slowly poisoned by the island, and his camp could still use some improvements. No amount of world-shaking revelations will alter that.

This story has been a slow burn at best. The dialogue was kind of awkward but charming. Unfortunately the plot just lost me and I stopped caring about anyone

If you fall into the latter category, you get me. There I was, simply working to program my visual novel and find my muse, when BAM! Monster girl in my closet. Needless to say, she changed my life. For the better at first, sure. But then there was the hunter, and the crazy lady who spoke of another world where the monsters live.

Boring, plot unfollowable
Reviewed: 02-23-25
First off, no bat species we know of is carnivorous. Some drink blood most eat insects or fruit. The running gag that the bat girl eats squirrels makes no sense. Besides that, I couldn't follow what was going on. The story was boring, the MC uninspiring. I wasted a credit

Male Narrator Voice is Weird For the Character
Reviewed: 02-08-25
I generally liked this book. The man thing I couldn't get used to was that the voice for the MC was so deep and sophisticated for what I think is basically a high school senior. Odd choice

Story
I was a nobody until my diving team conquered the first two dungeons in the Path of Progression. And now? I’m famous. Throughout Aspatria, everyone knows my name, and they’re all talking about just how powerful our team can become. My enemies are taking notice too. After defeating the fabled Slayer in the second dungeon, I know someone is waiting to take their revenge on me. I need to watch my back as we set our sights on the next two dungeons.

Story
After having kept my hands to myself for years, It's time to enjoy myself a bit as well with an enemy-turned-ally magician who is as smart as she is beautiful, a bar owner who can equally hold herself in a fight as much as with liquor, and the only other survivor other than myself, a golden-haired healer who's even more damaged than I am. Change looms behind Greystone's colossal walls as guilds vanish, arena fighters wind up dead, and whispers of a great war permeate the streets. My name is Cade, a man driven by vengeance, and I am going to bring it all down!

Mary is OP. Ending stinks
Reviewed: 11-01-23
Overall the story was okay but one big thing ruins it all. Mary is OP and proves to be insanely evil, but the MC never even considers doing anything about her. He always tells her he will kill her but she freezes him each time they meet. she murders thousands yet he never tries to come up with a plan to deal with her. He never even thinks about it. Mary is a mass murderer and deserves death but MC just kind of moves on from each encounter, even after Mary kills one of his bonded women. And in the end it's sold to us as if everyone gets what they want, happy ending. BS, Mary should have died and achieved nothing! It's just makes no sense that no one even proposes dealing with Mary and the ending is so unsatisfying
