About this listen

Devils covet his realm. He isn’t about to let them take it.

As a primal conjurer, Ryn Xaven is a rare sorcerer who can use all types of magic and bond multiple beautiful mages as his protectors and companions. Together they will root out devils, protect their world from demonic invasion, and keep each other warm on cold nights.

Yet before Ryn can do all that, he has to graduate from the prestigious Primal Academy.

The challenges Ryn faces are great. But with the help of Saphielle Provos, a sweet and innocent priestess, Lauralena Markov, a gorgeous and playful conflagration mage, and Mistress Aurienda, his unreasonably attractive instructor, Ryn will carve a path to power for himself and his loyal auxiliaries.

Not too much but just enough to keep you hooked

Very good not too much. Very enjoyable to listen to, and super fun knowing I have 5 more books to read

Great Story

This book kept me engaged the whole time. I finished it all in one sitting and look forward to the second book when it's released. The voice actors were phenomenal.

Good first book

I gave 5 stars because the overall listen was excellent. The book throws you into the mc s’ last year at an academy right from the start. The magic was not explained early but the story and excellent narration made the listen very enjoyable.
I liked that the author had confidence that n his story did not need a stupid cliffhanger. I think all the readers know that our mc we be leaving the academy into a world we know nothing about. The next couple books should be very exciting.
Great job from everyone involved in the production

My review

I've enjoyed the book. The righteous section sounds like it's full of people either full of self righteous or those who might want to serve out justice. Though their rules seem very restrictive from what I've heard so far.
The MC is kind, compassionate, and considerate to those he's willing to bond with. Though in a way, it sounds like a D&D story that focuses around him. I don't know what class (or classes) he'd be though. I also like how each woman has their own personalities and don't simply jump at him just because of his title. Though it does seem some women in the story did want to be with him just for that and everything that came with it.
This book actually shows you that there's two types of people in the world. Those who actually want a relationship and those who are willing to throw themselves at you for whatever you have or are or whatever benefits comes with being in a "relationship" with you.

So he's ultimately a slave?

I for one hope that he graduates, gets strong, and comes back to annihilate everyone involved in the shitty cults controlling everything.

A great book

A lot of spicy times but with loads of character development. It could use more story length though so the story progression
doesn't get rushed.

Mage academy HaremLit.

This is not the average mage academy HaremLit storyline.
It starts out very slice-of-life. But quickly gets into the power development of the MC, among others.
The author really gets into the personalities if the main characters and doesn't have everything come easy.
Great story and I'm looking forward to the next book.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.

Great first book

this story grew on me quickly. I really felt the passion between the characters as they earned each other's trust and not just slapped together. I'm very much looking forward to book 2!

Great first book with a interesting premise

The one thing that I liked about this book which is somewhat different from other books of this genre is that the MC is actually looking for women who have very specific characteristics, and who can help him achieve his goals. This means there’s time to get to know them to understand them to see if they fit in the group dynamic, and if they have the qualities he needs in order to improve his own performance.
A note about the narrators: they were excellent. I had not listened to them before, but they did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life.
