The story kept me interested. I had no idea who did it until the end. Ready to listen to book 2!

This was a fast read full of twists and turns which is no surprise with Richard Osman as the author. I’m looking forward to more books in this series.

The author has written a cosy, classic mystery set in a country house. The narrator brought the characters to life and I’m looking forward to listening/reading this series. Well done and would recommend.

I listened to this story and hope it’s never made into a movie or series. With the cast of characters it was a challenge to remember who was who. I’m not sorry or regret spending time on this book, but probably won’t listen to it for some time unless I find someone who wants to discuss the story.

March is such an up and down often gray month and this story is just what I needed. I already have the third audio preordered. What a fun group of people who simply keep moving forward, trying the impossible and succeeding. Laugh out loud situations, observations, and comments are a treasure. Fantastic writing and Lesley Manville’s narration is spot on!

A review tweaked my interest in the story and I originally thought I would just not listen to it, but the tale drew me in and I wanted, no needed to find out not just the end of the story but the whole tale.

The story was fascinating and had me thinking of choices made and missed opportunities. Carey Mulligan has a warm, rich voice and hope she continues to narrate books.

Frankly I approached the newest title, All the Devils Are Here, with trepidation since the book was set in Paris, therefore Three Pines residents wouldn’t have a large role in the storyline. However, my fears were allayed by Louise Penny’s deft talent for continuing to develop a dynamics and Robert Bathurst’s rich narration. As with all previous titles, I’ll definitely listen again. The Gamache family has become my family as well. Thank you Louise and Robert!

Louise Penny again creates a wonderful mystery and includes the cast of characters from Three Pines. I’m convinced the village and everyone really exists!
