Quite astounding and affirming. I did not like the narration style that much. But really impressed with the content.

A beautifilly written book. Heartwrenching and shocking too. Reminds of the perseverance and tenacity of the human species. I'm still at a loss for words.

Interesting but very shallow characters. Thecrecipe is compelling but very predictable. I will do this once a year to take a break from more substantial reading.

Haidt's work is just amazing, so insightful! Wish he was reading it though, the narrator is poorly engaged with the material of the book.

As an experienced clinician, I am very well informed about Attachment theory and am very keen to learn more about how to help clients in relationships using attachment based skills. However, definitely the style of narration and perhaps some parts of the writing style, I find very off putting. It comes accross as a novel, the narration aimed at showing the acting skills/ skills at narrating different characters. - nót as a book with skills that contains stories of real people, aimed for real people to apply. The hard copy may be different.
