Quality information, but too many lists

I would recommend buying the book in paper, to get the full use of it.

Overall good book, annoying narration

The book iitself is fine, although feels superficial. It’s ok for couples therapy where none of the partners has a decent dose of personality dysfunction, in particular narcissistic personality structure where these techniques could potentially make a vulnerable partner even more so. It assumes both parties are invested in the relationship equally, often not the case. So it feels somewhat superficial to me. The female narrator does the most annoying, pathetic, weak female voice impersonification that was difficult to listen to. I am surprised Sue Johnston allowed it to be released as such. I certainly wouldn’t have had it been my book!

Dissapointed

As an experienced clinician, I am very well informed about Attachment theory and am very keen to learn more about how to help clients in relationships using attachment based skills. However, definitely the style of narration and perhaps some parts of the writing style, I find very off putting. It comes accross as a novel, the narration aimed at showing the acting skills/ skills at narrating different characters. - nót as a book with skills that contains stories of real people, aimed for real people to apply. The hard copy may be different.
