Story
Piper Evans: elementary school teacher by day - avid romance reader and anonymous podcaster by night. She has a quiet, reclusive life, taking care of her mother, who lives with mental illness, avoiding her regrettable ex, who bartends in town, and trying to make inroads in the tight-knit island community that still sees her, five years in, as an outsider. And she's happy with how things are - really - until British royals rent the property next to hers and their brooding bodyguard decides she's a security threat.

Writing frankly about mental health issues and neurodivergent people is so important. There shouldn’t be a stigma. No one feels they need to hide a broken arm or heart problems (for example), so why should we hide our mental health problems.
Also, it’s a sweet story that I thoroughly enjoyed! That you included that other stigma that so many of us deal with was perfect. The “dreaded” judgment for our love of romance!

Story
I would say Dr. Cruz Costello is my archenemy. But that would require acknowledging one another, which we haven’t done in more than a decade. He’s the town’s golden child. The beloved quarterback-turned-physician. I’m the girl who got knocked up at 16 and now works at a diner. He is Fairhope royalty. I get my monarch dose from tabloid gossip. He’s well-off. I’m...well, off. When our siblings get engaged, Cruz’s parents invite both families to a pre-wedding cruise. Except Cruz and I find ourselves stuck on a different ship from everyone else.

Can’t finish
Reviewed: 12-26-22
I truly don’t like giving bad reviews. But this story is painful. The way the heroine is treated by everyone is horrendous. The fact that the guy who made her pregnant has had NO consequences and is still respected in the town sends the worst kind of message. That she’s thought of as dumb and the town slut disgusts me. I wish I could return it, but it seems that audible has changed their policy and only books that were purchased with a credit can be returned, as a very long time customer who rarely returns a title it’s disappointing.

Story
Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

I cried my eyes out
Reviewed: 05-25-19
This story broke my heart. I kept crying throughout the entire end of the book!
I loved the story, my only issue was that Ella was so stupid. She needed someone to shake her and tell her to get over herself and pay attention to the wonderful man who was clearly devoted to her. Her mistrust went on too long. Despite that, I loved the story. A story that can mess with my emotions so intensely, is clearly a good story!

Story
Rhys Fletcher is not in love with his sister-in-law. That would be a very, very bad idea, and he doesn’t entertain bad ideas. He also doesn’t lie to himself. Both of those things can’t be true, so he’ll do what he’s done since the long-ago night when his brother, Dylan, turned up in an Auckland bar after a brutal rugby match between their two teams, and introduced his new girlfriend - a dark-eyed, much-too-young girl named Zora. He’ll lie. Now, his brother’s gone, and Rhys is back in New Zealand and settling into his new job as the head coach of the Auckland Blues

Story
The one unbreakable rule in the Man Code is this: no matter how beautiful, smart, and clever she is, do not fall in love with your best friend's woman. Yeah, so I screwed up big time when I fell for her. I might have let my sin of unrequited love slide, given everything that went down in the last few years, but Lulu just walked back into my life as vibrant as ever. And the cards are stacked against me once again. We're working together, and the last thing I want to do is mess up her life with a forbidden office romance now that she's finally got the fresh start she deserves.

Story
I knew that most people took one look at the ink and the impossibly big and strong body it covered and decided I was a brawler...a bruiser...a beast. However, I was hardwired to be a thinker, not a fighter - my mind being my greatest weapon and my biggest weakness. I should have chosen to use my brain and talents to be one of the good guys, a hero, a man with dignity and worth. I turned my back on dignity and sold my soul to the highest bidder, deciding to dance with the devil instead.

Anything by Jay Crownover is an automatic download for me. My biggest problem is that the books always finish too quickly. Stark and Noe are wonderful flawed chatacters who survive despite impossible odds. I love that they are both such nerds but so badass too.
I kind of need to know if there is going to be a book for Booker and Carson now...
