Sex, lies, and videotape...

As described, J.A. Huss delivers a dark suspense novel that pulls you in and makes you desperate to discover the truth behind all of the lies. All three of the main characters battle demons and lean on each other as a means of getting through the pain.

I would classify this book as erotic suspense. The sex scenes throughout the book are copious and graphic. My only issue with this tryst of three lovers comes down to implausible suspension of disbelief. JD and Ark perform and tape sex acts in public places. The girls who appear in their videos are vetted to include contracts, drug screens, and STD checks. The "show" doesn't go on unless the girls are clean. When this duo comes upon the heroine she immediately falls into bed with both of them and they engage repeatedly in unprotected sex. I found it hard to believe that they could be so careful with all of the porn actresses in their videos but not with the heroine who they find barefoot, scantily clad, doped up, and on the street. She could have been a walking STD for all they knew about her.

With that said, the story itself was unique and suspenseful. It took a long time for all of the truths to come out of the shadows, but the reveal was great.

The narration was excellent. I've listened to many books narrated by Sebastion York and Ava Erickson and they make a good team for this story. Ava was great intoning and differentiating the male characters thus making the dialog very easy to follow.

At the end of the audiobook, J.A. Huss recounts her process of Three, Two, One. She talks about the inspiration for the book and how it evolved over the 42 days she spent writing it. It provided insight into the story and added to the listening experience.

Definitely worth a credit.

5+ stars! Absolutely loooooooved this audio

Wow I don't even know what to say right now. I'm in shock I think. Shock and mourning. Shock that it was so incredible and totally mourning the fact that it's over. Great story with deep Characters, amazingly hot sex, mystery, and more, all while pulling on major heart strings. I can't even pick my favorite thing about this book as I loved the whole package. Wonderful job JA Huss, and you picked perfect narrators. Major kudos! Thanks for the bonus too 😉

5 HOT Star’s

I waited, and waited for this book. I bought it as an ebook, but waited for the audio and HOLY Smokes am I glad I did.

I don’t read blurbs, so I went in knowing very little, just the way I like it. And wow this audio delivered.

My favorite of the year so far, these 2 narrators brought me right in to the story. I was sucked right in from the first 10 minutes. I listened straight through!

Ark, *fans self* this man wow, he just does it for me. He is the “Alpha” but with the soft side.
JD, is the fun loving, silly guy, until you hit the bedroom/ alleyway/ club/ pretty much anywhere.
Blue, she is the broken girl wanting to be made whole.

Ark and JD are like the yin and yang, same by different, brothers by choice, best friends and business partners. The business is porn, public porn, all on the up and up but still porn.
They make a good living doing it to, they want for nothing. So when they come upon a girl in an alley they bring her in to the fold so to speak.

“Money does that to you. Money changes you. I said it never would, but I was wrong.” - Ark

There is something about this girl that is different from any other for them. They both have this pull toward her. They can see she is in a bad way, and they want to make it better but are cautious.

“She's not mine. Not his. She's ours.” – Ark

Blue’s running from something or someone. That someone or something is also connected with JD. And when JD was suffering and in his black hole, it was Ark who brought him out of it.

“I don't have the answers JD's looking for and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to tell him.” - Blue

Blue as it turns out is what brings them all together. Even if some of them fight it more than others.

“I don’t feel safe unless I am surrounded.” –Blue

There is a quote that got to me hard, and it’s what I will end my review with. This book is powerful and haunting; it’s going to be with me for a long time, in all the good ways.
Worth the listen? Yes. Worth the credit? Yes. I leave you with this.

“If we're in, we're in. We're together. We're a… a… trio. Not one, not two, but three.”- JD

You've never read one like this.....

If you could sum up Three, Two, One (321) in three words, what would they be?

amazing, suspenseful, hot

What did you like best about this story?

How about everything! JA Huss has a gift to weave a story that you never know where or when it will take a turn and yet it's always the very best in the end.

What does Sebastian York and Ava Erickson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They both did a great job giving these characters voices. You can almost feel like your in the room with them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several actually, when they first bring Blue home and she says "I can't feel safe unless I'm surrounded..." Later as Ark is trying to figure it all out after the video shoot, "That seals the deal, we're not one, not two, we're three....." and of course the ending, but I can't give that away.... :)

Any additional comments?

This is so worth the price, it will suck you in and keep you enthralled until the very last.

Three is a crowd

Would you consider the audio edition of Three, Two, One (321) to be better than the print version?

I have only listed to the audio - I'm a busy accountant and mother of two, so time to actually read evades me at this point in my life. Thank goodness for audible!

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that the author keeps the reader in suspense throughout the entire novel, not giving many clues as to where the story is going.

What about Sebastian York and Ava Erickson ’s performance did you like?

The narration was spot on - as always with Sebastian York and Ava Erickson. I honestly wish that all of the audio books I listen to were narrated by them.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Arc said it countless times throughout the book...Not Everything Should Come In Threes.

Any additional comments?

Without giving anything away, I'd like to encourage listeners to give the ENTIRE book a chance before deciding it's not your cup of tea. I've got to admit that there were several times throughout my listen where I would swear I wasn't going to finish it because I just couldn't relate to the feelings the trifecta experienced - however, I stuck it out and by the end, I was SO glad that I did. This book is definitely one of my favorites now and I actually can't wait to listen again to see if I pick up on subtle hints that I didn't notice the first time through. Give it a shot, it's definitely worth a credit or an outright purchase!

I love this on Audible

What did you love best about Three, Two, One (321)?

JA Huss is one of the best romantic suspense writers out there. Erotic story taking place in a crazy world, well written, intense.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how vivid the characters are: Ark--the businessman, JD--the player, and Blue--who is she anyway?

Which character – as performed by Sebastian York and Ava Erickson – was your favorite?

I liked both. Sebastian York did a great job of painting a new dimension for Ark--hearing him--serious businessman but with a childish desire for Blue. . . Ava did a great job of imitating how JD would sound. She sounded so young herself, yet had that side to her that listeners wouldn't expect.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sexy, suspenseful, the secret world of JA Huss

Any additional comments?

I had read the book when it was released, and loved it, but sometimes got a little confused in the story. Hearing it is so enjoyable--I had plenty of AHA moments with the narration. Both readers did a superb job of opening the story up for me (and encouraging me to listen to the rest of the books like this that JA Huss has written).

another good book

This is a good book. I can usually guess the ending of books, I did not on this book.
Very well written. I enjoyed the narration. And I enjoyed the story it did not bother me that the female did not really sound like a male when reading her chapters. I always enjoy York.
I sound like a broken record but I would have really liked to hear it with a real dual narration as I have heard in previous books. Well worth a listen.
