This book reminds me of a high school kdrama. It was very sweet. It had a great enemy to romantic partner storyline.

This was an enjoyable story-light hearted and a bit predictable. A great beach read

Characters were a little exaggerated, but I laughed out loud and stayed up all night finishing this book. Delightful.

Modern story set in Victorian England. No research and not believable. Just write a modern story rather than revise history. I miss actual historical romances.

Honestly I didn’t like the female lead the first third of the book, but the story and the male lead kept me hooked. It was a fun story and I liked all the secondary characters very much. This book would make the perfect romcom!

I had to speed up the rate of narration as it just plodded and dragged. Story was ok.

Just finished this book and was sad to have it end. Loved it! Almost like a fairytale but better.
The narrator did a fantastic job too. I listened to the book on audible.

I really enjoy Jodi Taylor's authentic storytelling and dialog as well as her characters. I fell in love with her Nothing Girl and am reading my way through the rest of her books. The narrator got a bit too Whiny and nasally for my taste, but I still enjoyed the story.

I enjoyed this modern story told in a historical setting, and although enjoyable, it was hardly a historical romance.

I enjoyed this story and look forward to listening to it again. I enjoyed Brian Kilmeade's narration although I burst out laughing twice just as his emphasis on a couple words caught my funny bone. I'd recommend this book.
