Publisher's summary

Life on Frogmorton Farm is never peaceful for long . . .

Discover book two in the magical Frogmorton Farm series from Jodi Taylor, author of the internationally bestselling Chronicles of St Mary's.

Life is good at Frogmorton Farm. Yes, Jenny and Russell are still broke. Yes, the roof still leaks. And yes, the Checklands are about to become the long-suffering owners of a battalion of trouble-seeking Patagonian Attack Chickens. But life is still quite wonderful for someone who used to be called the Nothing Girl.

Jenny Checkland knows better than to count her chickens, though, even the Patagonian ones. Particularly because an all-too-familiar face from the past seems to be popping up wherever she goes. She would swear it was her sinister cousin Christopher, last seen being enthusiastically hurled out of the back door by her wayward husband.

But he couldn't possibly be stupid enough to come back and try again . . . could he?"

Loved it!

I loved his book. It was a great story with eccentric characters human and animal. It moved along at a good pace. Very funny, sweet, and bittersweet. It actually made me think about remembering to love the people around me day in and day out. The narrator was also quite good.

Dear to my heart!

The Nothing Girl and The Something Girl are two of my all time favorites! The narration brings it to life. I just live the humor asking side the nite serious issues.

Jodi Taylor is always a winner.

Loved the sweet and quirky story of the Frogmorton Farm inhabitants. The Nothing Girl was so lovely and good, this is a wonderful continuation.

Stayed up half the night to finish it

Story and narration are wonderful. Lucy, especially, has an amazing range of voices and narrates the story with feeling. Excellent.

A lovely group of stories and funny!

I am not a great one for these kind of books. But this is an understated, very British group of books that I thoroughly enjoyed. They are funny and heart warming. Even a couple of tears. Loved them. Please read the other two before this one, otherwise you will be completely lost.
