I have thoroughly enjoyed the Alex Hunter series. This book is incredible and I finished it in just a couple days. Clearly the HAWCS will have to at some point venture to the center of the Earth after this adventure. The Silurian Bridge is a fast paced thriller with multiple plot twists that have the story taking some dark turns. You really feel for Alex and Sam for what they are subjected too in the story. Greg and Sean continue to be a winning combination! I can't wait to read the future Alex Hunter novels that surely need to be written to continue the story of the HAWCS!

This 3rd addition to the Fathomless series is not a series ender or a disappointment, in my opinion. I think appreciate this book, you have to look at it the same way you look at Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. The Empire Stikes back begins at a blistering pace and lays the groundwork for what would be Return of the Jedi. Now back to Leviathan.... This book has hints of the Arcadian (Beneath the Dark Ice & Kracken) and Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Lemuria series. I believe that this novel is the beginning of a larger adventure / horror series. There is references to the Kracken fought by Alex Hunter. The Spider is reminiscent of the arthropods found in the Center of the Earth series. Megalodons and Leviathan Melvillei make for an engrossing read and the pace is phenomenal. I am psyched to see where Mr. Beck takes the adventure from here.

The narration by Sean Mangan is either your style or it isn't. His pronunciations of some words are bothersome to some people. I however enjoy his narrations and get a chuckle from the way he says a few things. I truly enjoy Greig Beck's writing and there is real promise in his latest book. You need to be willing to believe that there will be more to, otherwise you will not be satisfied at the end of this book.

This was an amazing listen. I wish the narrator Cameron Buckner had read "The Lakeview Man," too. I was hooked from the first chapter, and it lasted all the way to the end. D.A. and Cameron are a winning combination!

Another great story, but it does require more of a suspension of disbelief than the previous 2 books in the series. While having no characters in the stories that are untouchable adds to the suspense, it makes it hard to allow yourself to get attached or root for any one character. That aside, I found myself really enjoying the book. The narration was again a strong point. The way this book ends leaves you wondering if the series is finished, or if there is more to come. My hope is that the series continues.

The story was really good, but it isn't what I was expecting. After listening to Bigfoot Hunters, I expected the Jersey Devil to be an actual creature. Instead, mutated inbred backwoods killer rapists is what I got. It's not the same kind of monster I was looking forward to reading about.

Despite my initial disappointment, this was really a great listen. The narration is fantastic once again. I certainly recommend this book and series.

This was an amazing find on Audible. I loved the narration, and the story was great. The gore is easy to visualize given the great details by the author. This was well worth the flier taken to listen to it. There is a good deal of believability to the plot. Nothing hokey or supernatural, just a full throttle bigfoot horror story. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be entertained and also wants a reason to debate going into the deep woods. I loved this book!

All I can say is book 3 better be out soon. It's a great story, with a lot of meat still on the bone. There are a few parts that seem to line up with a couple of other series from Mr. Beck, but that is just my opinion. I enjoyed this novel and completed it in a couple of days. Mr. Mangan continues to be my favorite narrator of all time. I hope this series is longer than a trilogy, but no more of the .5 books those are the worst. I say that, but I have them all. Great book, great series, and the weaving of fact and fiction is awesome!

It's the most long winded and boring story I've had the misfortune to purchase from Audible. I wish they had a money back guarantee, because I want my credit back. I have 30+ titles that I've purchased from Audible and this is the worst. The only redeeming part is Michael Sharp as the narrator, but it's only the sound of his voice as the way he reads is a wonky and fast. The book is a combination of Downtown Abby and a sex scene from the Howling. Basically a werewolf learns he like to have sex and the rest of the people in town like to have tea. It's just awful.

The Alex Hunter series is great! I own all 10 in the series. Don't be quick to dismiss this entrance in the the series. Black holes and things reaching through them make for an immersing listen. The writing of Greig Beck is exceptional and I can't say enough nice things about Sean Mangan. A lot of reviews complain about the narration, but it's blown way out of proportion. I have over 20 of Greig Beck's books from Audible and I enjoy Sean's style. The characters are deep and you are invested in their outcomes. Try out the whole Alex Hunter series and you'll soon see that this book and all the others are interwoven into an incredible story.

I sincerely hope Greig Beck is writing a sequel or series for this horrifying novel! Narrator Sean Mangan is the best in the world.
