Story
When the guys at work dare me and the new guy to play a game of gay chicken, I figure I'll get my first kiss and bragging rights for winning. What I don't expect is for that game to awaken something in me. Something I've never felt before. Something that makes me want more. Makes me want him. I never back down from a challenge, but that doesn't explain why being with Noah feels so good. Why I can't stop thinking about him. Why he's the only person who's ever stirred even the slightest interest in me. Why getting him off gets me off.

Fantastic combination of character reading and narrator guidance to the story line.
Reviewed: 07-03-24
The combination of live character parts and focussing narration throughout the books makes this a totally immersive story line. I was able to connect to each character in many personal ways and felt the emotion of the story throughout.

Story
Charles Preston Carmichael is the most infuriating man I've ever met. I want to sock the golden boy of college hockey right in the mouth. He enjoys telling me everything I'm messing up—publicly. And since he's my roommate for the next year, I can't avoid him. Yet there's something about him that makes me watch him. Something dark. A secret I want to uncover. When he returns from a weekend away, broken and haunted, I can't keep my distance anymore. He needs someone, and I'll be damned if it's not me.

Great connection between the characters

Great story but the abuse of the main character by his parent is gut wrenching and frequently stomach churning, almost to the point where I almost turned off the story. It definitely makes the storyline grab you and feel more strongly for the characters.

The storyline was believable and most of the time interesting. the fact that the book was entirely narrated as opposed to any first person performance was a little annoying.

So relatable I almost couldn't listen to this book unless I was alone. Touches on so many parts of my life throughout all the years of coming out and developing a real life as a gay man. Well done again!

Story
I’m never one to turn down a bet. Especially not when it comes to retaliating against the dean for pulling a dick move before summer break. So when the dean’s golden child arrives at Astor for his freshman year, my fellow troublemakers throw down a wager I can’t resist. The target: the dean’s son, John Thomas Hawthorne, or “JT”. The bet: corruption in any way I choose. It should’ve been easy. With his mess of brown curls, pouty lips, and good-boy reputation, JT is the perfect revenge. And even better? He’s straight.

Too unbelievable.
Reviewed: 04-08-24
The story is interesting but a little to far fetched. the performance of West is inconsistent with his voice going from deep and sultry to lispy and effeminate. The pain of the character JT after being deceived by West is appropriate but then is given up too soon to be believable.

Story
Kyran Harbor is everything I'm not. Rich. Popular. A superstar football player who's awfully broody for someone who has it all. Basically, he's a preppy jock who hates me. Oh, and he's also my stepbrother. That's right. We're stuck together, sharing a school, a house, a bathroom. Honestly I wouldn't care if he wasn't such an uptight control freak who messes with me just because we're different. I had every intention of avoiding him when we got to college. Until abrupt misfortune forces us both into a compromising position.
