The whole book could be summed up in the last like 15 minutes. a lot of wishy-washy storyline that was trying to be a love story, but wasn’t.

How does anyone think this was good.
Reviewed: 11-16-23
I got through half before I just couldn’t do it anymore. It is written like a children’s book at first. It was very slow going. The keep repeating how bad everything is for the main character but never really move forward.

A lot of grief
Reviewed: 04-16-23
I have had many losses in life. I know what grief is and how it affects everyone in different ways but I was a very slow grief process with the story really not moving because they had to keep reiterating that they were grieving. I ended up giving up and moving on from this book because of this.

Story
Ehd's a caveman living on his own in a harsh wilderness. He's strong and intelligent but completely alone. When he finds a beautiful, young woman in his pit trap, it's obvious to him that she is meant to be his mate. Elizabeth doesn't know where she is or exactly how she got there. She's not at all interested in Ehd's primitive advances, and she just can't seem to get him to listen. No matter what she tries, getting her point across to this primitive but beautiful man is a constant - and often hilarious - struggle.

I kept me a little interested till the end. There were some slow parts and some confusing parts that you understand by the end. I don't think I will reread this book but enjoyed it the first time around. It makes you think about what you would know if you were transported back in time.

This was another one of the plus books on audible I just couldn't get into. There may have been a story but at x2 speed I finally gave up with everything in about the 4 chapter. I was over the religious everything. This is just not were I am in my life right now and I didn't see much of a story heading forward. If a religious book was what i was looking for great but I was not. There was a story that was starting but it was slow going and I have a lot more books I want to read.

Olivia Moreland prides herself on discrediting charlatans, particularly the false mediums that flock to London. But when Lord Stephen St. Leger requests her help in investigating an alleged psychic's claims, she can't deny the ominous feeling she has within the walls of his ancient estate - or the intimately familiar connection she has with Stephen himself. The last time he'd called Blackhope Hall home, Stephen had watched as his elder brother claimed both the family title and the woman he loved.

There was a good story but execution was poor by narrator. I am glad I listened but will never read again. Since I got this on plus.
The amount of time not believing in paranormal but still believing was the reasoning on my no.

Story
Marvellously atmospheric tale of strangers summoned to a grand but neglected villa on the Italian coast. Each of them has been named in a will, but nobody knows their benefactress.... Four very different people are named in a will. Delia, an opera singer robbed of her voice by illness; George, an idealistic scientist who cannot face what his skills have created; Marjorie, desperately poor and unable to dislodge her writer’s block; and Lucius, ostensibly in control but whose personal life is in chaos.
