it sounds like the narrorator is reading out of a manual. it's difficult to listen to. I muscled my way through 11,53 and had to turn it off.
I gave it three stars under story because there is likely good information but I couldn't get that far.

Story
Relentless Strike tells the inside story of Joint Special Operations Command, the secret military organization that, during the past decade, has revolutionized counterterrorism, seamlessly fusing intelligence and operational skills to conduct missions that hit the headlines and those that have remained in the shadows - until now. Because JSOC includes the military's most storied special operations units - Delta Force, SEAL Team Six, the 75th Ranger Regiment - as well as America's most secret aviation and intelligence units, this is their story, too.

Great book with loads of knowledge. Much of which is relevant to anyone serving or have served during GWOT. Many higher profile missions mentioned were known via media outlets so to get insider scoop on them is inciteful.

Story
At dawn on March 2, 2002, America's first major battle of the 21st century began. Over 200 soldiers of the 101st Airborne and 10th Mountain Division flew into Afghanistan's Shah-i-Kotvalley - and into the mouth of a buzz saw. They were about to pay a bloody price for strategic, high-level miscalculations that underestimated the enemy's strength and willingness to fight.

This book was written in 2008 which is early on in the war on terror so a lot of what would become of Afghanistan is not mentioned. Hearing a different side of operation anaconda from someone who was a decision maker is enlightening if you've listened to other books about Afghanistan the war on terror or operation anaconda overall this is a fantastic read.

In a future marked by restlessness and chronic unemployment, what will happen to American society? In The War on Normal People, Andrew Yang paints a dire portrait of the American economy. Rapidly advancing technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation software are making millions of Americans' livelihoods irrelevant.

great content but the delivery is lacking. I did struggle to finish it as it was kind of dull and monotone. that aside, the points that are made are eye opening and if you're a parent thinking about your child's future, or a young person about to enter the workforce you should absolutely listen to this or read it.

this isn't a bad story, it just HIS story. Which, good for him for realizing what he wants to be, and if you're unsure of who to emulate this book give many examples of his interpretation of a "man". Honestly I don't disagree with any of them so it's not a bad listen. I just didn't really care for it all that much.

In this pathbreaking audiobook, best-selling author Dinesh D’Souza argues that the socialism advanced today by the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, and Elizabeth Warren is very different from the socialism of Lenin, Mao, and Castro.
